Not buying the whole "teamwork" gig with this Tournament of Power, or that 17 is that strong either. I'm having a hard time remembering when teamwork meant a damn against anyone of significant power difference, I.E Perfect Cell vs Krillin, 18, and 16. Oh well; hoping to see some good shenanigans with Freezer though.

Last time I remember teamwork helping at all is probably Goku and Piccolo vs Raditz? Every other time they teamed up against someone they were grossly overpowered in comparison and usually brushed it off, or they took turns fighting the person like against Kid Buu. Depending on how the fights actually play out we may get some actual interesting fights to watch in the Tournament until it dwindles down to become a battle of the heavy hitters like Goku/Vegeta/Hit/fat Sailor Moon/etc

The thing I really enjoyed about that part was that they were going against impossible odds, trying to buy time for the MVP to heal back and re-join the fight.
