I hope when Goku and Vegeta go full blown Blue and Frieza gold they rekt shit. Would be corny as hell for fodder dude #7 from bum fuck universe 32 to be able to hold their own. Would take all the mystique out of god ki.

Well Universe 7 is a shitty universe according to Zeno/Other angles. Berus is lazy and Supreme Kai says that they shouldn't interfere. Which apparently made their mortal level 2nd from the worst.
Yeah but I took that as a mortal level average throughout the universe with Goku/Vegeta/Frieza being obvious outliers.

I don't think they're going to fuse, but it's not something that's hard to "master". Rather simple movement. Would be easy enough to have learned it off screen (hell, Vegeta came out of nowhere with blue off screen. Goku and Vegeta both got ssj2 off screen. Goku got ssj3 off screen, etc.)
Meh fuck Gogeta. I´d much rather see Goku go perfect SSJB Kaioken x10 and Vegeta SSJB2 or whatever "new" form.
Edit: Ultra SSJB for Vegeta would be badass. I wanna see my Veg all beefed up again ;; Ever since Super all these motherfuckers are skinny af
Didn't Geets attain SSJ2 onscreen -- the instant he powered-up with Majin boost?
When vs Goku, he mentioned Majin was the only thing that let him break his limits, no?
He had it before that, Gohan was still able to go ss2, and Vegeta said he was the weakest saiyan there.
I thought that merely implied that his powers had diminished to pre-SSJ2 levels because he'd become complacent since becoming a douchebag teenager. But that's dumb.
I guess I made the assumption because Geets never even had to SSJ1 against Pui-pui, so we never actually see him power beyond SSJ2 in the Buu arc until he lets Babidi violate his brains and he puts a hole in the budokai bleachers.
Nah, Gohan was weaker, but barely. Where as Goku and Vegeta improved a ton over the years. Dabura was at Cell levels and Gohan wasn't necesarily winning the fight, but he was easily holding his own against him.
Nope. He wasn't ssj2 when he went Majin. He didn't go ssj2 until after him and Goku were transported off to fight. Goku said let's skip the warmup and turned ssj2, then Vegeta just as effortlessly did the same about 2 seconds later
12:30-13:00 is Vegeta's first onscreen ssj2. Between how effortlessly he transformed and how he downtalked how weak Gohan was, it implies that this isn't his first transformation into ssj2
He was referring to releasing the evil in his heart and going back to the way he used to be because he felt he had become too soft and complacent in life

Whoops wrong thread
Yeah I was thinking of the part that starts at 27:24, when he says "No amount of training could've closed the gap between us."
They flashback to Babadi's ship where Goku beats Yakon from powering up into SSJ2 for a split second, and Vegeta was totally shocked.
I assumed Vegeta was like "Oh shit, he did what his kek son did 7 years ago. If I let that lizard thing make me an M&M like he did those Russian potato farmers, I bet it'd close the gap and then some."
Him already having obtained SSJ2 offscreen makes more sense. Been so long since I watched any canon stuff since DBA has rewritten history.
He just meant that Goku has always been one step above him. Even in ssj1 at Cell games Vegeta couldn't have won vs Goku. Vegeta attained the next for and then noticed Goku did it and then some as well.
Also have to think of it though. Goku was a step ahead in the cell games, but not by some monstrous amount. Vegeta saw Gohan transform. and then trained an extra 7 years? Would be asinine if he couldn't have achieved at least that much (especially when all his training is in the gravity chamber now)
With them making Potara fusion non-permanent, is there even a point of fusion dance anymore? Potara is a stronger, more effective version of the same thing now without the drawback of having to do any kind of motions and no chance of screw up. I honestly doubt we'll ever see Gogeta again. I'd actually be a little shocked if we ever see Gotenks.
As for Vegeta. It's always given the feeling the way they showed, at least in my opinion that Vegeta would temporarily get stronger than Goku, only for Goku to easily outdo him. He was stronger right when he got to Namek, until Goku trained on the ship. Then He was stronger right after he got out of Hyperbolic Time Chamber, only for Goku to outclass him the second he started training. However the way the dialogue has been done is... Goku's Mary Sue. Goku is always the strongest and able to beat everyone. The only time this wasn't true was when he was trying to do the whole passing the torch thing and Gohan was god tier. I mean he even says he could have likely killed Fat Buu as Ssj3 but simply didn't because he wanted his kids too. Vegeta will always be Goku's bitch who can do everything Goku can, just slightly worse.
It's never been confirmed either way. When they were talking about potara being the "stronger fusion" they meant the fusion itself (aka supposed to be permanent, but Elder Kai was misinformed, as it took until Gowasu came along to say that was for non mortals only). They never commented on the strength of the fighter the fusion gives birth toPotara is a stronger, more effective version of the same thing now
Nevermind, seems like this has already been said.
