Depends on the gimmick.
Maybe Jiren has really small Ki reserves but is able to output ridiculously large amounts of Ki at once. So he spends the entire tournament building himself up just to go nuts at the end and take everyone out.
Or Toppo was so freaked out by Goku that he specifically instructed Jiren to keep everything in reserve just to take him out.
Both of those things are completely fine with me.
We know for a fact that Goku transforms on Saturday, but the next couple episodes after that focus on completely different things. No indication that Goku wins or loses or anything at all. Maybe Jiren retreats.

I think saying an hour is generous since normal episodes excluding OP/ED are around 19 minutes so I'd expect I guess 40 mins or so? I'd be super surprised if we got an hour since that's basically 3 episodes.
