The one real good pizza place in our area is called Klavon's. A 14" Stuffed pizza with 5 toppings is $26. It's real good but yeah, not paying that for pizza. However, I just noticed on their menu they do a large 1 topping for $9 on Mondays. May have to give that a try.

It's very much pizza. It's loaded with toppings and cheese. They do not skimp. Bread is a litter thicker but the toppings and cheese are the star.

We live right down the road from Topper's. My son often begs to go to the "tomato pizza place." I try to avoid it whenever we can because of the cost. Now and then we'll go and get the lunch deal (salad and personal pizza).

But that pizza is two toppings. If I want a lot, then I am going to make it myself.

Stuffed pizza is okay depending on the shop. Place near my office does a good meatlovers stuffed. Place I grew up used to do one they called the Roman that had veggies and stuff as well as some sausage. Was real good.

Digiorno pizzeria is the best frozen pizza I've tried, which includes screaming Sicilian. It's my lazy/drunk night dinner backup.

I need to look into making from scratch

Making pizza from scratch is easy, and the dough can be prepared beforehand. Depending on how drunk you get, you should at least be able to flatten it into some kind of shape and spread shit on it. Just don't burn yourself.

Digiorno garlic bread supreme is my drunk lazy pizza of choice. I also really like the spinach mushroom. About alfredo, we've ordered from Hut pizzas using alfredo and will usually do red onion, spinach, mushroom, ham, and bacon. With the garlic crust it's pretty good. Not sure if it's local but we have a place called Cottage Inn that also does good alfredo specialty pizza as well as a Carolina gold pulled pork pizza.

You guys should definitely start making your own pizzas if you're adding toppings like this. You'll save a lot of money.

We used to get 3-4 topping pizzas and pay $21-25, or you can get your own ingredients and pay a fraction of the price, and you can make two of them.

If you do start making them frequently, I'd suggest a stone or steel to make them on rather than a standard baking pan.

I can't justify the price on a Digiorno when I can just go pick up a Costco pizza.

Exactly. It's the toppings that are the killer.

All praise places like Blaze pizza, Pieology, etc. for having unlimited toppings.

    No Costco in my city.

I only grab Digiorno when they are $5 or less. I think the last time I even bought one was at least three months ago. Since getting the sous vide and smoker I've stopped getting pizza or ordering out in general really. I get home from work, decide what I want, and drop a bag or throw it on the smoker and set the timer.

No Costco membership and the digiorno pizzas are always on sale for $5 at my Safeway. And I don't need to leave the house if my freezer is stocked. It's a much better value proposition than it used to be.

What frozen pizzas are 5 for $10? That doesn't seem like a quality product.

When it comes to frozen we usually get the Celeste pizzas. 10 for $10. But they are going downhill. They recently changed it so they don't need the metal dish anymore, but now they are like...sticky.

I'm not knocking them by any means, just commenting why I don't really buy them.

They are usually $6.50 out here.
