Hence it's a FWP if you have people shipping their stuff to work. Saves a whole step of driving to a locker. Like I said, it doesn't affect me. I just got a good chuckle this morning opening that email saying "Stop sending your mail and packages to work."

I wonder if work throws out internet-ordered flowers now since I haven't seen any in recent memory.

Around here it is as things get swiped often and I ship everything to my husbands job and he works for the county. It’s just easier honestly but had mentioned the lockers because not everyone is aware they exist.

I do it all the time. A lot of people can't exactly be home when packages arrive and even if they can a lot of delivery drivers will assume the person isn't home and just dash even though it says signature required. And been a lot of thefts of packages left in front of front doors/porches etc. And the locker thing is relatively new and I think that's just amazon

I've done it a handful of times to surprise people I've lived with for their birthdays or something. Otherwise, no.

It is particularly common in rural areas or places where delivery companies cannot physically get to your house. Where I live I have a dirt driveway. I don't have a physical address. My mailing address is a locked mailbox on the highway that only USPS has access to. If I want something delivered it has to go to my work or before I had my current job I would send it to one of the local businesses and they would hold it for me in their mail room.

Most evangelicals would rather back off with a condescending lack of respect for others choices ala "I'll pray for you." Rather than harass you with a conversation of conversion otherwise with someone being forcefully rude. They have other people to save afterall!

If you have the time and patience to waste. Constantly calling Jesus a zombie in the conversation and them a zombie worshiper is probably worth a go out of spite. "I don't pray to a TV show on AMC like you do." Start calling them Rick Grimes, etc.

The holy spirit can't overcome their holy patience threshold.

So this weekend I got spammed with ton of bogus emails that failed to go to spam. Seems a little odd all at once but it's also an email account I've had for a good 20+ years so shit happens. Meanwhile not spam from places I've actually responded to gets sent to spam. Get an email from credit karma saying they found my info in data breaches. So like hey maybe that's it thanks CK. Except they are just now telling me about it and they are all old breaches fuck one was of myspace lol. Also several others were from forums I was never a part of (and ironically half of them were anti-virus, maleware etc sites) one a site not sure I even visited.

Also steer around a bunch of garbage in the bike path yesterday... and then come back in after it's gone and immediately hit a fucking construction staple. So blow out tube of course the back one and had to walk a good 4 miles home. But hey this time last year not sure I'd be able to actually make it without intense pain and somehow also numbness from my leg. And down to like 4-5 minutes in replacing tubes

No one said scream and throw them over the counter of a Panda Express or something. These people are simply loiterers that are harassing you. If being rude to them gets you banned then something went terribly wrong on your end.

Do they even know your wife? How else is someone waiting for their spouse to get off work going to get them fired due to a confrontation you didn't even initiate?

I think you misunderstand how these things go down.

No one is going to have the whole thing from the get go recorded. People even with full information but even more so without are likely to remove the entire problem even the parts that aren't the cause. A huge ruckus will likely involve at least some measure of blame being placed on all involved. People don't want to and don't have to deal with it or figure out the details. And given she works there it could easily be associated with her or at least get her involved.

Insulting people can be enough. And making fun of/insulting someone's religion can be enough to set them off, and if they raise a big enough stink, they are just going to want to be rid of the cause of the problem. Sometimes in a public place it's best to politely tell people to fuck off with nicer words and go back to what you're doing.

Can’t seem to catch a break at my main job. First our GM leaves for another location , then acting GM has a death in the family and now we are short staffed tomorrow so working open to close after coming in early all week. I’m exhausted and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow more too , bleh.

Worked on a hw till 2am for computer organization, woke up at 6am to finish it up. Was late 10 min. due to the fucking rain (peeps can't drive for shit when it rains), and my instructor didn't accept it. Godamn it.

Random win: The eye dr today told me my keratoconus hasn't progressed in the last three years which is great news. Chances are high I won't need corneal transplants.

Random Fail: He told me I also need to get prescription sunglasses with polarized lenses which will set me back around $600 or more for the lenses and frames.

Anyone know a good resource for prescription sunglasses?
