I work for Bethesda Game Studios and can't take a picture with the life size Mr. Handy.
Had to kick my first passenger ever out of my car doing uber/Lyft today. Dumb shits felt a 4+ mile ride with a kid under the age of 2 with no car seat was perfectly acceptable.
Had to go to court today for a 3-way accident I was in. Had to sit there nearly 2 hours for no reason, as the other two guys involved in the accident refused to testify in each other's cases. Essentially resulted in them getting no charges for rear-ending me, despite clear fault on them and a police report. Giant clusterfuck of defense attorneys, prosecuter, two judges, and three witnesses across two different cases in two different court rooms.
tfw looking up flights to lax from local airport and some are hilarious. Like direct flight 90 minutes but not many left.
Most of them are taking a 60 minute flight to sfo then having a layover and then taking a 100 minute flight to lax... like sfo is closer so why the flight is taking longer idk and it's just funny that flying to sfo takes about the same amount of time as driving. Like the whole reason I'm looking from local airport is to avoid all that extra time if I was fine with it I'd just fly out of sfo and enjoy much better selection and probably fares.
Edit: some of the return flights are even crazier. Talking 7 hour travel time... which is about what it could be driven in maybe speeding a little but hey it's cali
Decided to try this chipotle clone place and oh my god, the gas it gave me was horrible.
Went to file my reimbursement expenses for ICS training, and found out the county went cheap and no longer reimburses meals for county sponsored/run training.
Well it's still technically more expensive but the difference is smaller than the cost of getting to SFO so... mostly though I'm surprised at how some of these end up taking as long to fly as drive. I aint spending 7 hours of travel time to not even leave the time zone. Get out of here with that shit
people who talk down to customer service people are the lowest form of bully. enjoy berating someone who can't fight back, you cowardly worthless shits
Found out today I over invested my 401(k) last year and I'm having money force ably returned to me.
Seriously, I've had some super shitty CSR's before.
Worst offenders are Barclay's and United in my experience.
So idiot coworker calls in says truck isn't working. Try to get information on what exactly is going on what indicators etc to try and figure out what is wrong and it's like pulling teeth. Wont say some things or will answer but sound unsure and when pressured said he didn't look. Go thru this for like 30 minutes and turns out he turned a switch the wrong direction. Note it has labeled switch positions and he's operated this truck dozens of times before
Being in customer service my entire life I agree there’s some awful service I’ve dealt with and in that case I give no fucks. Part of the problem with bad service is that there are rarely any repercussions for such because managers are too lazy to address the issues so they go unchecked.
I flat out lectured someone on customer service more than once and have even taken my business elsewhere based on poor service alone. It’s funny because I rarely have issues with anyone because I understand what they’re dealing with but some people are also just stupid.
