Hey fam I need a solid.

I'm around Vol.51 Chapter 500 of the manga which I believe is somewhere around 390-400 of the Anime; post Thriller Bark starting Summit War arc on the way to Fishmen Island.

I want to switch to the Anime but I need English dubs (fite me) because I only really watch in the background at work. I'd be willing to pay a subscription for commercial free access to this.

1) Where is the best place for this, Crunchyroll? Funimation?

2) Where should I start? Right where I left off? Water 7 for the saving nico robin & rob lucci fights? Just watch the big end of arc fights? Watch east blue only just to get a feel for characters animated?

Okay two is like 10 questions but you're seeing where I'm going with it.

If I'm not mistaken, while there are just over 900 OP episodes, there are only about 587 that are English dubbed. Crunchyroll doesn't have it anymore AFAIK, but Funimation (who do the official dub) do, so you can get it from there legally. If you want to mimic the OP pirate theme, lots of sites you can stream off of for free if you google it.

As for where you want to start, I don't think it really matters. Apparently Funimation is doing a pretty damn good job of things (especially compared to 4kids >_>). But yeah, the English anime is only around chapter 662/663 content wise.

If you need a lot of entertainment over a long period of time, might as well start at the beginning? And if you don't need too much, then yeah, maybe start at the beginning of Enes Lobby or something like that? This question is all up to you.

I was also gonna suggest even checking out all the movies, but I don't know if they're in English at all. But yeah, they're pretty decent watches too, even though they don't contribute any progress or character development at all to the actual main story lol

That makes sense to me. Could also be a Luffy fanboy ala Bartolomeo which is why he really wanted to meet him.

The hints seem almost too obvious, you know what I mean? It's not really Oda's style. And the chains around his wrists could very easily be because he keeps running away and Kaido literally tried chaining him down before the big feast to keep a tab on him

So. It’s this but with a few design changes. There won’t be “One Destiny” I hate worded tattoos so I’m debating about having the banner blank or just removed in general. I like the banner though and I guess I can could get some put there in the future. I’m getting it above my Fallout Vault Boy tattoo and my Snoopy/Woodstock.

Also. If you’ve ever gotten a tattoo, least from my experience. Artists almost refuse to do white cause it looks so shitty so the whole skull and crossbones will just be my skin with a bit of shading added.

Thoughts? Or if people have a better Jolly Roger, id love to see that.

Not including the words is the right choice IMO. The design is neat, close enough to the one used in the manga/anime for fans to recognize but still different enough for non-fans to think it's just a cool take on the usual skull and crossbones design
