One Piece is one of the only things in all of media that I just get so excited for. It's been so long, it's been so good, and it's going to take so much longer to get to the end. It's absolutely wild.

I really, really hope they do a One Piece Kai of the anime at some point. Take out all the filler and put more content into each episode and catch things back up, this time able to get the canon end instead of the current state of the anime.

What is One Pace?

One Pace is a team effort that started in March 2013 with the goal of matching the One Piece manga more accurately than Toei's anime adaptation. We cut out filler scenes, non-canon reaction shots, padded sequences, and re-order scenes to stay truer to Goda's manga.

It's imperfect. They've tackled different swaths of it at different times, so some edits still have the rust of when they were all amateurs 7 years ago.
Still, it's the closest we'll get to matching the manga pace and scenes 1:1 with an unofficial fan collective, and it's still covering something like a respectable 95%+ of all the existing anime episodes. Sorely needed for this Wano arc as pace slowed to a crawl this last year while they insanely try to stretch 1 chapter : 1 episode.

Sure. It's been awhile since I was last there; it looks like they've filled a lot of the gaps they had a few years ago.
The only really egregious skips I see are around Drum Island/Alabasta/Skypiea.
Otherwise they appear to be current through Wano 938.

Head bandana wrapped Zoro has finally reappeared. And he's also finally using 3-Sword style again. And he took Kinnemon's technique lol

Chapter was great and this fight is going to be badass. I'm curious what other matchups we're gonna get

I honestly was not expecting this match up but it makes so much sense. All 5 of them are "Supernovas" so it makes the most sense they would take them on.

Oda's reaction faces this arc are fucking fantastic lmao. Didn't think anything would top Robin's reaction face but he did it.

Given how good these chapters and this arc has been, it's just criminal and devastating how badly the anime is adapting it

If they ever do a One Piece Kai like they did with Dragonball, they can leave the pre time skip stuff alone really. That era was fine. Just re-edit and re-do everything post time skip please +_+

Edit: I just learned about Onepace.net, so I guess the fans are making the changes themselves lol. I should check those episodes out and see how decent the edits are

Edit2: Okay, having just watched the latest episode release from the above mentioned fan-edit site, I gotta say it's surprisingly good. I mean, it's not perfect, some edits are kinda rough but overall it was pretty decent. I might just go back and re-watch some of the post-skip big fights and see how those are

Kind of love that Luffy and Zoro are the only ones who've done some actual damage to Kaido save for Oden's retainers at the very beginning of their fight. Law, Kidd and Killer have attacked Kaido but have had no real impact other than being a nuisance to him

Still have no idea what sort of impact CP-0 will have on the story as a whole going forward. They're showing up everywhere but very much working in the shadows. And yeah, they're basically setting up the whole "Kaido's top subordinates vs Luffy's crew" with what they said lol

That last page silhouette is great. Either gonna look super badass or really hilarious. Gonna guess the former but given the Kaido's fruit and Oda's comedic tendencies, could definitely be on the humorous side too
