We'll have to see. Luffy's growth this arc has focused almost entirely on development of his haki. There's no guarantee he'll ever obtain his bankai.

Pressed to make a real world comparison, Oda envisioned Luffy as Brazilian.
Iñaki is Mexican, and I feel like he's already capturing Luffy's big energy so well.
Lol @ "I can't wait to become the pirates... King!" given Tanaka's been waiting 20 years for Oda to get her there and she's 66.

Also, idk what runtime of episodes will be, but going by the titles of the 10 episodes ordered for "Season 1", they appear to be blasting through plot.

Given that pacing, feels like the episodes have to be at least 40mins-1hr. They'll still have to cut out a lot of shit but if they plan to go beyond 1 season they'll have to include Buggy, Mihawk, Coby, and Smoker.

The remade and remastered opening was nostalgic as fuck. And really neat that it was updated with the current crew. Episode was nice and nostalgic too, not really any progression in the Wano story but just giving every crew member a moment to go over their history
