    If you haven't checked it out already, with Ep 1015 we are finally on the roof, and it's a god damned gem of an episode! It looks like a third of this season's budget went into these 20 min, it's absolutely gorgeous. Next week is filler/recap, but when we return 05/08 for the actual fight, it should have similar quality. Combat to look forward to.

    It seems like this is it. This fight ends in 1-2 chapters.
    Just got some gut wrenching flashback to remind us of the context of the climax we're obviously crescendoing toward. The seminal moment is imminent.
    Does Luffy let the punch fly and hope Momo figures it out, or prep it for a 4th gd chapter? We'll find out Thursday.

    They're merely "defeated", there's no way Oda kills either of them. The yonko are legendary, of course he'll want to add to their infamy by having something as paltry as a magma chamber phase neither of them.

    If Oden can survive in burning hot oil for hours and Kaido and Big Mom can shit on Oden, of course they can survive in magma. Not to mention Akainu would be unstoppable if you couldn't mitigate magma in some manner.

    I dunno. Momonosuke saying the volcano eruption was Kaido's (and presumably Big Mom's) "final" sendoff makes it kind of suspect

    But again, unless Oda explicitly says so, I won't believe they're dead yet
