Jfc they threw Toei's entire quarterly budget at galaxy impact. Go to crunchyroll and watch, people.
There are certain punches that need that extra care when animated and that was definitely one of them. Prime Garp had to have been scary as shit to any crew not named Rocks/Roger.
So if he's punching the Czar Bomba in the anime, how is no one dead? That was a nuclear warhead that went off, not a shockwave.
The animation was gorgeous and all that, but the actual design was so far removed from the manga that they may as well be two different attacks.
I imagine a ton of people died, watchutalkinabout
Go back and check the manga. They were knocked out, and only fodder. It was just a haki shockwave, not Fat Man and Little Boy, lol.

Even if this is an abridged retelling, can't imagine Netflix not ordering the full series over time. The IP has such momentum right now. Hope you all caught Olympians doing OP poses throughout the games this year.

Dang, so Egghead ends. What an arc, and what an outcome. It feels like there's only 2 arcs left after this, which is nuts, considering there are so many unfinished character stories. Hopefully there's an abundance of fun in-transit chapters where the crew gets to do slice of life stuff and we get updates on all the other things in motion.
I'm curious how much Elbaf will really have to cover. Shanks was there most recently right? And yeah, still have so so many loose ends to cover. These in-between arc exposition story chapters that are gonna come are gonna be nuts I'm sure.

Egghead was fun but my body is ready for (hopefully) Usopp to get some shine in Elbaf.

He really hasn't had anything since that moment in Dressrosa where he learned Observation Haki. I don't think Oda has shown him using it since

Obviously they'll suppress any involvement by the Saints, but you may as well just put an infinity symbol by Luffy's bounty by this point. There isn't a numerical amount the Navy would even pay. They'd most likely kill whoever made good on the bounty for being enough of a freak or a potential liability to take Luffy down.
Oda's official note about Netflix live action Season 2. Will cover through Drum Island, with important new casting revealed tomorrow 08/21 through 08/23!

Did they hire Mark specifically because of his last name?
I wondered that myself.
