I've started and stopped this game 3 times waiting for full release. (With 130+ hours in, total). I've kind of given up, but I really do want to finish it at some point.

It's like Bandcamp, but for games (and expanded to a few other things).
It's mostly VERY indie stuff, just starting out developers.

It's run by one guy, and he takes a very small cut to break even, so it's a pretty good deal for developers, it's just not widely known so bigger ones don't bother.

Of course the year I buy that whole D&D pack during a Steam sale (after waiting years for a deep discount), it hits Humble for a third of what I paid.

Whoever maintains it on Steam did some work. They have a universal launcher, with cleaned up manual scans, and options for community-made auto-mapper/tweaks where applicable to save you the hassle of setting them up yourself.
I'm too used to DOSBOX packaged releases being completely no-frills on Steam. Still need to dig my teeth into most of the package though given it's 20 something titles. Definitely some RTFM material in there though given the era of gaming they hail from.
