Nier: Automata and Drakengard 1 have comparable FAQs/guides. Those games weren't even close to comparable in terms of popularity.

Whatever basement dwelling teen population was creating massive text guides in 2005 seems to have either migrated to youtube (thanks, I hate it), or just gotten older and stopped making guides. Or, did the website do something that made people hate it?

Random discords of people who know how games work is truly the hell at the end of the rainbow.
