Yeah. Bonds mean nothing but extra dialogie scenes, of which there is already so much. Ui is completely basic. Everyone has 4 weapon upgrade options and promotion paths but they also all have 1 or 2 that is definitively best for them. You can also change it so you get 200% Stat growth and gold while lowering enemy strength. If you want to breeze through a tactics game with some decent music, this will do that for you.
