I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I got a PS5 version for like $20 over a year ago. It's a shame it sold kind of poorly and the devs experienced layoffs due to the performance of the sales. While the gameplay just falls short of being good (it's still decent, but nothing to write home about) the narrative was fucking great. The dialogue between the teammates throughout the game made me laugh out loud at several points and there were some great deep cuts and references. Great soundtrack too.

I think due to Avengers being the dumpster fire that it was, people were hesitant to give this game a chance. I think it goes to show people still don't know the difference between developer and publisher, but what are you gonna do. Enjoy it!

Avengers is the reason I didn't originally get this game either. I don't think you can blame people considering the subject matter was same too. I since learned it was better than that. I'll definitely be going through it shortly. I am kinda happy it seems narrative heavy and doesn't take too many hours to be a completionist. I need a short game haha

So wha happen was...

When I went to redeem it Thursday morning, the section of the epic launcher was blanked out, and you couldn't get the game.
They fixed it by the time I got home from work, but by then my routine was off, and it slipped my mind.

I'm a creature of habit, which is useful. But if something throws me off, it fucks me up.
