The mod scene for that game is insane. Mostly just playing that game in VR using drift cars on Japanese tracks, which the base game basically has none of. Hoping the direct sequel will be just as modifiable. Absolutely needs a wheel though imo.

I definitely say it's worth it. The 1.1 patch comes out in about a week too so it'll be the new hotness again. If you like skill trees or ability trees, every single ability has it's own unique ability tree to alter it in some way. The crafting system is pretty great too. Endgame could probably be better but they're adding more to it in the 1.1 patch. If you want something that's not psycho excel sheet like Path of Exile but not D4, this is a good in-between

I played the Steam demo of Astlibra with a bud awhile back, and we both came to the conclusion that it felt like a game out of the Win95-era but done with a modern resolution/colour depth, right down to it basically being a solo-dev project. I liked that it felt like Odin Sphere Leifthrasir gameplay-wise, so that's my main reason to pick it up eventually.


Been slowly whittling away at the Tex Murphy series on my end. Never knew about it when I was younger, and my affinity for P&C games had me grab it all this Steam sale. Enjoying its goofy presentation, albeit the 3d entries run a bit jank in DOSBOX. Haven't found a means of making the mouse controls for the 3d exploration less jank where it'll suddenly whip 180 degrees on me.
