I remember Baten simply because it had some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard for english. Good game though. Still got the GC disc laying around somewhere. Never got around to playing 2.

hmm maybe I will try and find this and emulate it; I never played the second.
and agreed that the voice acting was awful lol. the gameplay was unique though, and the environments were gorgeous (although a bit garish as well at times).
honestly I just miss the battle system; it could be frustrating af but it was such a joy to play with and collecting cards felt so good
Picked Yakuza 0 back up and my save was after the first chapter. Man this game is so good. I really like the story thus far and even though I just sort of button mash I love the encounters while you're roaming the streets. I mean, I'm kicking ass while break dancing! I could also see me bowling for hours. I tried the batting cage and I just can't do good. I haven't gotten into any other mini games.
Historic low is $11.39 but right now you can get it on steam for $13.39. I'd highly recommend it!
Incase you guys arent noticing the thread blow up, but Apex Legendaries is amazing and you should play it. Also, it's free.

How is the learning curve? All I know is it's team based and if you wander off you're fucked
Very small. Plays like any fps but it handles very well and the context from the hud is beyond anything you've played before. It a very well thought out game.
Wandering on your own is only suicide cause theres no almost no way you're soloing an entire squad unless they suck.

Finished Yakuza 0 today. Skipped the mini games because the story took hold and I couldn't stop. This is my first entry to the Yakuza series and holy shit am I hooked. To think 1 comes out in two days but I need to clear out some backlog before buying yet another game. Took a ton of self control to not by RDR2 yesterday! The story to Yakuza 0 was A+ and I'd highly recommend this game.
having a horrid craving for Eternal Daughter lately. I would kill for ED on the switch. the game has a lot of problems on modern systems with controls, window size, etc.
hmm maybe I should fix that lol
Been trying to get back into Vermintide 2. It's a fun game but holy fucking hell people are retarded in this game for so many reasons...
-The guy the runs off on his own to get a tome/grimore, dies, and bitches at the team
-The guy that bitches we didn't get a grimore/tome
-The guy that runs off on his own and doesn't realize how far he is away from his team only to get grabbed by a Leech/Packmaster
-The guy who is spec for a melee row but blows through his ammo and hoards any found on the map, hurting the actual ranged players
reached the end of year 2 in Stardew, didn't know I was going to be rated on my progress. got the maximum rating, f yeah
also the Eternal Daughter craving still stands. I wonder if I have the coding skills to fix that game up a bit...
Almost done with Drakengard 1. >.> Just a few years late on this game. Working my way through all of Drakengard, Nier, and Nier Automata. I feel bad for waiting so long on getting to Nier Automata with all the good things I've heard about it, I just have way too large of a video game backlog due to MMOs.
Drakengard 1 sure gets weird/dark, was not expecting some of these endings lol. Just have ending E left to get.
Been doing some grinding in the past few days on Vermintide 2. Not really good with Victor/Kreillian/Sieanna as precision isn't my specialty.
The anniversary map is hilarious though. Pub crawl map where you're looking for a tavern to drink at then in the latter half there's a "dry" debuff that prevents you from using your ability until you drink again. If you drink too much you automatically go down.
Omg the mariachi level in Rayman Legends. I wept. First time in my gaming career I have replayed a platform level just because it was fun even though I got all the collectibles.
Just started playing Factorio again. Just got my first rail loop around all my various resources setup. Red/green science packs are fully automated.
Gonna start on oil production tomorrow.
Grabbed cheap Prey yesterday. I know I heard a lot of good things about it, but was still pleasantly surprised when I started. A very nice take on the System Shock/Bioshock gameplay style
Still progressing through my Drakengard/Nier playthroughs. Finished Drakengard 1 and 2 and just beat the true final boss of Drakengard 3 and......that might have been the hardest boss I've ever fought in any game I've played.
Spoiler: show
Think I'm like halfway through Nier 1 now, and this game's soundtrack is just way too good lol. Probably already in the like top 5 soundtracks ever for me.
