God of War is one of the best games made in the past decade ya, absolute mastapiece. valks are some of the best fights in the game and def worth doing. Valkyrie Queen took me 4 hours to beat on Give Me God of War difficulty. longest a vidya fight has ever taken me along with Sword Saint Isshin.

Ragnarok is a little less tight but a very worthy sequel, high recommend doing the Valhalla DLC after finishing the main game. brings Kratos's story about in a beautiful full circle.

Oh one thing I do gotta dock points for God of War (2018)..... too many repeat bosses. I was really disappointed the boss you are sent to fight in the Hel or Helheim or whatever was a reskinned version of a same boss. I thought it was going to be like....a norse grim reaper or something.

Anyone know if the PS4 version of it hold up well? If it's as fine looking as the first game on PS4 while holding 30fps that's good enough for me. Physical copy of it is on sale in my region, and I'm still in garbage-internet hell and would prefer not to download a....................is it really fucking 190gb on Steam? Jesus christ.

Played and finished Ragnarok on PS4 Pro, looks just as phenomenal(probably the console best), performance is mostly 30fps with very rare frame drops which did not bother me at all.

Overall it was a great experience. The game is very well optimized on PS4.

I've been enjoying it as well, but some of the endgame mats are annoying, unless I'm missing something, seems like you have to get them in a treasure grove, go through the whole thing, and hope you luck out and get a couple

just finished Dark Souls 2. Had never really gone too far into because weapon durability is a shit mechanic. Generally enjoyed it but the boy its a complicated bunch of shit to actually figure out where to go.

The DLCs for II were fanfuckingtastic.

Speaking of, very much enjoying the Overture DLC for Lies of P. The new weapon variety is fun, and one of the new legion arms is a double barrel shotgun which is quite entertaining.

Yeah, really hate when they put these DLCs somewhere in the late game etc. My only save was in NG+ chapter 1 lol, so now I'm rushing through the game to be able to access it.

It's why I didn't play Elden Ring's DLC yet, my only option was to start a fresh game or NG+4 or something and I don't want to go through the whole thing again for now...

I took a 2-3 year long break from Dark Souls right before Blighttown so I am a bid scared to get back. Could there be a worse stage? Lol.

Other than that…let’s see, I’ve been playing:

Back to Baldur’s Gate 3: Came back from a long break and now playing predominantly on PS5 rather than Mac so still getting used to the user interface (seriously, the difference is day/night). Got my ass handed by Goblins, so exploring Underdark and getting my ass handed there instead for better gear and preparation. And Cross Progress is just another wonder of the world.

Syberia: The World Before - Really loving it. Unlike Syberia 1-2 this one feels a bit more like a visual novel than an icon-adventure games (very easy puzzles really) but the fact that I can play in short sessions whenever I feel like it without any sort of a warm up period is awesome. I’ll take my time and enjoy this just like a fun TV Series.

Doom: Dark Ages.

Started Cyberpunk 2077 casually. Again, cross progression is helping a lot. At home, PS5. On the road, Switch 2. Would be super awesome if they pull the same with Witcher 4.

And I’ve missed GoW: Ragnarok enough to start Valhalla. I’ll also be playing on PS5 this time around, with better frame rate. Gonna be fun.

Sometime down the road I’ll also start Witcher 3’s expansion packs, now that its updated and kicking ass in PS5. A Switch 2 update would be phenomenal and couldn’t be more timely.

Other than these, the usual: Gran Turismo 7, Forza Horizon 5, EA FC 25 etc.

Is it better than other entries? Requiem is starting to look like a nice transition back to the early series.
