I also only beat A, then took an indefinite break since I didn't feel like replaying what I assume is going to be 75%+ of the same game again immediately after. That said I still have both versions of the first NieR in the backlog too. One day.

So as someone who was on Route A for 9 years and just got through B and C this time around, you guys need to pick it up and keep going

Also second playthrough only felt maybe 50% the same. A lot of the segments are different when playing as 9S and also all side quests carry over so you don't have to redo any that you did in the first round, and theres new ones exclusive to the second playtrhough.

But even during some of the parts that feel the same, you are learning new stuff.

I wish I was brave enough to give up my save, shoutout to the heroes who were. But it took me 9 years to get here and I still have some cleanup to do lol

i did and it felt the perfect ending to the game's messages tbh, but then i am not a 100%er

alsox2 on Zels and Kaisha yall needin to finish. i've said many times but A is only a solid game, not the mastapiece. B recontextualizes and elevates everything that came before it, and C isn't a replay at all it's a linear continuation of the narrative that ends in one of gaming's great climaxes. game just ain't finished with A.

I'm not sure if I fully understand the lore with ending E tbh, but I was getting the vibes of the pointless, endless war from very early on.

But I will say, I know why the routes were made to be completed so fast because of the multiple playthroughs, though I do wish I had more time to play as A2 and spend as much time with that character as the original 2.

Trying to do them normally. But also if I chose to delete my save at that point, that wouldn't have been an option

I may end up buying the one that requires me to play as 9S in a certain outfit for an hour because I probably don't have much gameplay left
