Punishing GL for hoarding is a BS excuse on Gumi's part if that is their intent behind all this. We don't get half of the events or rewards JP gets so it's only natural we would hoard for the worthwhile banners when we are given half the resources to work with.

If this is the new GL standard the game is dead. $50 banners are a hard pass from me. If they become the norm and that's how we get to our 7 stars then I'll stick around til 6 stars are no longer relevant and then I am out.

That all being said, having never pulled anything but blues from the free pulls over the last year, I pulled my first Orlandeau today.

That's a pretty bad 'deal.' Got a pretty good blue streak going between freebies and the daily pulls. Best one of the bunch so far is Cecil. Think it's safe to say gumi hasn't started the year off in the right direction. The Reddit posts have been pretty damn funny to read as a result.

Is there an updated list of BG friend codes here? Want to go thru my friends list and start clearing out some in-actives, though I'm not sure if some are BG people.

Also, got VotL from free daily. Kinda happy, might use them as a finisher since I don't have Cloud/Elfreeda stuff for normal finishers.

Edit: The cash 5* isn't bad compared to other games, though it's still bad in general. I know some other games have charged $100 for a nat 5 lol. (and people bought that shit instantly)

At this point, the 5* pool is large enough that you'll probably wind up with a shit one, assuming they don't pad such rates.

The price tag might seem more reasonable if they let us choose which 5*, but lolthat.

The funny thing is that in the JP version they have a system to choose 5* units and.. guess what... it's free! Sure it takes a while to collect the 10 tickets required (around 5 months or so) but it's totally doable. Here they ask you to pay 51 € (or whatever it is in the US) for a random one.

No I don't think they did. Every one of my freebie pulls was a blue with best being Cecil. This story event was the most I've farmed ever. Haven't upgraded much in the last while because I don't have the units or I don't use em.

I still have Fohlen to enhance but they nerfed him after 1 week so I'm not really that interested anymore. Would rather save just in case I pull one of the good chainers I don't have yet.
