I'm pretty sure some 7* forms will be buffed in GL, some characters really got the short end of the stick there (see Marie). VoF kinda seems like one of those units that could use some help there but maybe they'll go the Balthier route with enhancements.

oh man. brought out Lara Croft in the XP dungeon to finish her off. turns out she builds up a full limit bar every time she uses her limit break haha. I was able to use it every single round


she might be more interesting than I thought for a free unit. perhaps not meta, but not entirely useless that's for sure

Ive been using both capped 6* Laura craft for the raid when i got free time. For the funsies. Chaining the two gets me a nice chain count and with the raid elemental guns its an elemental chain, and I usually just bring a finisher. Can still 1-2 round it with her.

She's fun but some of her abilities are pitiful... a 30% attack break is something that even the Launch-meta would have laughed at.

Yeah, she's pretty bad for a 5* but pretty good for a free unit imo. being a perfect chain partner for Aileen does not hurt at all. her gear selection is super weird though; innate DW but only with crappy weapon types, while she can equip swords but can't DW them without help... it's a mess lol


why use those guns? just curious, since they're two-handed and all (except the ice gun). I'm using Valiant and Ulric's Kukri; no elements and not the best attack but my Beatrixes are using all the good stuff

What are you guys looking forward to unit wise? I'm debating if I want to save for CG Lid/Nichol or Sephiroth/Hyou. I'm "set" with tanks, healers, and support, but only have a dupe of Queen atm. Just not sure if I should dedicate myself to upping my support cast up even further, or try to pull 2 of a future DPS unit. This is assuming I never pull a dupe of the DPS units I already have lol.

I think I'm going to be sitting on tickets/Lapis for the near future. Dailies have been kind to me lately and I can't imagine that damage creep will be such that I *need* new units very soon.

I'm saving up for a new healer. Tilith still does the job for now but that is where I think I need an upgrade the most. I'd like a 5 star physical tank but my luck has been crap in that area. I feel like I'm good on damage dealers for the foreseeable future.

God damn, Reddit is in flames again. People are beyond salty that Android users are able to get the iOS compensation simply by logging into the game on an iPhone. Like post something positive and well thought out only to be nuked into -10 territory instantly. People are so petty.

That said, if you don't have access to an iPhone, you can try what's suggested here. Use at your own risk of course, but it seems people are reporting positively on it.

Bot guy decided to show people what he meant by "chose to cap the bots at lv32" the other day. As you can see he can more or less go until the number becomes so unrealistic that it is impossible even for a team of infinite win bots.


Also @ Malithar, that website no longer offers iOS emulation for free. Guess they want to capitalize on the sudden spike in people coming in for it. I just had my friend log in for me on their iPad lol.

Yeah I tried this but it got nuked pretty fast. Hopefully it'll be back up again.
At this rate Gumi should've simply compensated everyone and moved on, it's kinda pointless to make iOS "exclusive" that everyone is able to grab anyway.

I'm probably saving up for Sephiroth and the Monk lady on his banner in JP (the real prize).

I want a second Ayaka, but if there's one thing I've learned playing this, it's that I'm guaranteed 2 things: A healer dupe and Type-0 units.

I know that it's only a matter of time before I get a dupe of Ace and Queen.

CG Nichol is by far the most powerful and OP CG unit until Hyoh so I'm going hard in that paint

He's a Bard with no buildup, stronger buffs, and stronger HP/MP regen. He can do everything he needs to do on turn 1 with even more shit he can do on turn 2. Not locked in to singing for 3 turns etc.

CG Nichol is insane, the best support unit in the game. His maxed LB is a 3 turn 134% stats party buff, removes stat breaks and recovers 20% HP/MP (150% when at 7*).
Then he can pretty much dualcast all of his special skills which include 130% ATK/MAG with MP regen and DEF/SPR reduction on the party (as well as the opposite effects) but with stat break resistance you're looking at stronger buffs than any Bard can provide at turn 1. He also has AoE MP recovery (40), 30% damage reduction, some elemental resistance buffs at 70%, Ramza's song without lockout and MP regen, ST 130% stat buff with no drawbacks, etc.
At 7* he gets even more insane and he doesn't even have enhancements yet.
