Gambled on women's banner 3 and finally got Fryevia! Here's to hoping her coming enhancements are awesome (and here's to hoping I don't regret missing Elf yet again).

I just dumped my FPs yesterday. I'm pretty stoked that I stayed at cap for over a year and dumped them right before they announced this.

Also got a 10% today. I'm also mad about the friend point summon thing; fortunately I was lazy and didn't get my 200-day backlog of FP gifts. With TMRing I figure I'll be back to 100k in no time (already back over 15k).

Make sure you use up your 30m download tickets btw, the banner will be gone on April 11th. We're also bound for another limited units banner next week unless Easter is treated differently and those type of units should not be in the pool according to the announcement.

So what moogles can we get from the FP summons? I see a few on that page but is it all 3* base ones?

It should be 3* base moogles only. It's totally random which ones you get though, from Penelo to Ingus tier.

Edit: I just re-read the announcement, it's 1000 FP for a guaranteed 3* base 5% moogle. I thought it was like the cactuar/snapper summon where you did a normal FP summon but had a chance to get a special unit. This is absolute bullshit and a complete dick move.


Honestly, this is one of the worst things I've seen them do. The moogles themselves aren't too big of a deal, but there was no reason whatsoever to keep this announcement hidden until the end except the obvious one, which is to milk people of their lapis and cash. Disgusting, greedy, blatantly manipulative. What we've come to expect from Gumi, I guess.

I mean, sure, it's a dick move I guess. But how does this milk people of lapis and cash? It's 3* unit TMR moogles. On a personal level, I got far more use out of the exp and gil. I can understand being upset if you blew your FPs but could of really used the moogles from this, but disgusting, greedy, worst thing they've ever done, etc, is an extreme stretch.

It is kind of shitty to disclose this information only after most people have spent their FPs though. It's not the worst thing they've ever done but giving players a choice by announcing everything at the same time would've been nice and I totally understand if people are pissed by this.

definitely seems like a ploy to milk the playerbase. maybe that's cynical but can you blame me? greed is Gumi's game. I mean honestly, why not tell us before we blew all our FP? there's just no reason for it.

I dunno, I mean, it's FPs. You can get literally tens of thousands a day via thousands of FB friends and TMR farming if you wanted. I totally get the disappointment from how the FP campaigns played out. But greed just doesn't make sense. I can't imagine many are that desperate for 3* TMRs that they'd spend lapis or something. It's just a nice bonus for some that got filtered down with their previous campaign.

On that point, apparently they've gotten the feedback about the issues with the FP campaigns and the concern about botting the raffle. We've had some worthwhile banners, events, and bundles lately. I'm not against believing they're trying to turn a new leaf, but who knows.

Thanks for all the feedback, tags, PMs, etc.

I let the FFBE team know how players were responding to the limitations of the 30M raffle. Please keep an eye on the official FFBE announcements because there will be some good news coming soon.

I also let them know that the timing of the announcement for the Friends Points moogle campaign was not ideal. I promise they didn't do it on purpose! You might see more about this in the news as well.

I can't share anything more than that, but just know that the devs are making a real effort here based on how the community is responding. We're supposed to be celebrating 30 million downloads after all.
