What does everyone's party make-up look like? I've been running the same general line-up for ages and I think I should start examining other options. Starby's use of Ace in particular has always made me curious what kind of line-ups I'm missing out on.

Typically, I run:
Orlandeau + VoD for DR/DP chain
Dedicated Healer
Solid Physical Tank
Support Unit (Yan, Rikku, Marie)
My friend unit will always be either another Orlandeau/VoD or a finisher.

Ayaka, Ramza, Orlandeau+ friend are usually a given for me (unless specific trials require different chainers). I switch tanks between Wilhelm and WKN usually or iNichol+Zargabaath with 100% evasion build if the fight is mostly/all physical.

I've been VoD, Orlandu, WoL, Refia, and Trance Terra for a while now with Dark Fina preceding TT until I got her enhanced. Refia's now been replaced by Lotus Fina, but part of me is feeling like I need a better tank than WoL now.

You run enhanced Delita for 1 turn kills really, he has the strongest on demand DEF/SPR breaks when enhanced. Also Knight Delita doesn't require thunder weapons, he has Enthunder on his chaining move.

haaaaaaa I hadn't thought of it that way. the funny part is I was more excited about Delita than Aileen, let that sink in lol (I already have my chainers set anyway)

I just cleared the two most recent story updates(Minus Leviathan, needed a tank for that), and the Gungan Vortex missions with this party. Ace's Imperils synergize really well with Olive and Orlandu for damage, and Agrias can equip just about everything to hit elemental damage missions. Garnet to feed the summon gauge.

Back when I still needed gil(I'm sitting on 22m right now), I'd run Xon/P.Jake where I could.


Trials its hard to say, because they're so specific.
