3* espers will be fun. GL is going to have an easier time with them since we can make any unit into an evade tank. Ling is going to absolutely crush Ifrit with her innate evade and fire resist. Really worried about t3 magicites though... expeditions are going to be a complete pain in the ass to get those with compared to chocobo expeditions in JP. Really hope they boost the yields on them considerably or we won't be leveling our 3* espers for a very very very long time.

Don't know if they reset to 1 but that isn't the problem anyway. Lvling an esper from lv30 to 60 requires almost 22 million XP. In comparison, the most expensive esper we have right now (Bahamut) costs only 700k. The t3 magicites are absolutely mandatory, so if we get fucked on acquiring them we are basically being gated from leveling 3* espers entirely. Also worth mentioning that the items needed to enter the 3* fights (a la Rat Tails) also come from chocobo expeditions in JP.

Oh that is beyond stupid. Why gate content like that when it's already extremely challenging and you can't even take part in it? In FFRK the hardest shit costs 1 stamina so you can actually try it over and over with different strategies, but in FFBE it costs like 50 stamina and thr bosses can wipe you out in a single turn. It's such stupid design to not allow people to experiment and makes it mandatory to prepare a 100% failproof strategy before even thinking about trying.

I tried Alchemist's Code for a bit, and while it was fun starting up, once I got to their 'endgame' it was pretty much the same costly, poorly balanced shit you'd see here just in TRPG form.

And personally, I haven't run an expedition in like 2 months now. Sure, the A5 materia, but it's such a gil sink that it hardly feels worth it when you need to enhance character abilities on top.

Currently GL's expeditions give out like 1 Megacite for 8/12 hour ones lol. That's why I mentioned major revamp because it's not gonna work like this unless they mess with the 3* EXP requirements for GL. In JP I think you get around 40 Supercites every 12h from Chocobo Explorations (you also get TMR % btw) and you can't even fail those. Holding onto my relics anyway, just in case they upgrade Adventurer lol.

I'm getting close to my 3rd Adventurer V but I'll probably start slowing down after that. Been running expeditions constantly since they came out, been a huge help in capping out LBs.

On another note, has anyone played the Romance of the Three Kingdoms mobile game?

I exaggerate obviously, but it's getting annoying. I want to understand the story but the number of cutscenes is absurd and I just find myself skipping them after the first couple. maybe it's just me...

I think it's mainly due to the updates getting "shorter" so they compensate by condensing the cutscenes within the areas we do get.

that's why I get so annoyed. like... I don't want to miss the good stuff, but I feel like 5% of the cutscenes are good and 95% are some variation on "danger is coming" "we are brave" "rain is a hero" "lasswell is moody" "lid hits jake" or all of the above

Pulled CGSakura from my Celebration ticket today... really enjoyed that. Pulled Aranea yesterday, still had the moogles too so got the Stoss Spear. Other 5* from this celebration and half prices was Dark Fina so I'm happy my lucked turned around since her >_>;
