hardest part of Siren 3* was not killing her before evoking Ramuh. Oh and remembering to equip the Ramuh esper. I'm kinda disappointed in the lack of difficulty of these fights

Siren was p ez but as mentioned, evoking Ramuh was tricky. especially because of the "no limit break" goal, except I totally forgot that Garnet has a skill NOT HER LIMIT BREAK that also increases esper gauge. whoops. also assumed that Ayaka has sleep resistance innate but she doesn't. oh well, I did it the hard way with a few remedies and Tidus's water resist skill.


Ifrit I'm having to refresh my friends list for. too many shitty Basches up. it's cute that people think they're helping but if you can't reach enough fire resist it's not worth bothering.


also, 10% 5* ticket is almost worse than a guaranteed 4*... not trying to be ungrateful here but IDK, seems pretty "meh" to me.

Went in to Siren relatively blind, used a friend Tidus for his water resist move, brought along Lunera + Marie for support and Trance Terra for damage. Rikku was there but remembered as soon as I departed that there were no LBs allowed, ah well. She evoked Ramuh.

Tidus died once, other than that I got her down no problem. My main DDs are on an expedition but when they get back I'll gear up to try Ifrit. Excited about that. I think Ramuh, Shiva, Golem, and Titan all have 3* in JP already, too. Welcome power-ups.

IDK how you managed that, my peeps were dying left and right even with Tidus lol. Still managed to complete with all mission though. Ayaka MVP

On Siren the only thing that should've been able to kill you with Tidus in the party would have been her 80/60/40 threshold attacks since Blitz Mania makes your party immune to all of her magic and her melee attacks are garbage. Any unit that can cast Reraise (like Meliadoul) + mistair/chow/basch takes care of the thresholds.

Marie is a miracle worker, Lovely Guard +2 combined with Lunera's Elf Song +2, no worries about anything.

Was able to take down Ifrit with Prot's Mystea, tyvm. Thoughts on the trials:


- Reddit chatter is that they're too easy, but I disagree. They're very easy with a specific setup, but otherwise very difficult. And I like this - it rewards strategy and planning.
- I do not recommend doing Ifrit with 95% evade Noctis. He one-shotted Noctis twice after he buffed himself (otherwise Noctis would have been safe for at least two hits). Luckily enough Prishe's auto-revive saved the day, and Ifrit was kind enough to only target each character once after Noctis died. Seriously, the luck on that was unbelievable; I would have wiped otherwise.
- Related note: I really, REALLY need to get off my ass and finish Echidna for that vest. Like, seriously...
- I forgot to give Beatrix #2 a holy sword lolol. I did the whole thing with repeated non-elemental 15-chains, lol. Took forever... not recommended


Pretty fun overall. Looking forward to the Shiva fight.

Cagnazzo was more than enough for me in terms of drawing autoattacks, didn't really feel the need to stick a 100% evade provoker in there

One shotted Siren with a couple Oldmandaus. Didn't realize she would die so fast, and had to go back in a take it slow to get the summon achievement. Round two, I chip away at her, build up the gauge, go to summon her, realize I never set her. Awesome.

Sounds like me on basically every trial ever. I did it with Ifrit too, don't have Siren at 2* 40 yet to fuck that one up.

You have to summon Ramuh not Siren.
