So I got LGD on farm, finally. It's pretty easy if you have a specific set of items.

The Team!

Slot 1, Wakka, Breath of the Rose(Dark element TM Dagger from the community unit), dual wield, pod 153
Slot 2, Olive. 1700 atk, Ifrit for Beast Killer
Slot 3, Wakka, Same as above
Slot 4, Wakka, Rikku's Pouch for AoE def down, and Germinas boots to flee to the final boss
Slot 5, 100% Evade provoke tank. I'm using WoL
Friend, w/e bonus unit you want.

Boss strat

3rd wakka uses def down(Chaos Grenade I think)
pod chain + True shot will 1 shot either Ronso. Target the bottom one.
Top one will berserk and only attack your provoke tank
repeat chain and win.


The only part that was hard for me was the timing of Olive in the Pod chain. I messed it up twice and had to S/L. Since I got the timing it's a breeze

I'm just running Ramza with 2 GLS/Oldman for chains on LGD. Sakuras obliterate anything in their path in one turn, Oldmans require 2 when there's more than one target. You can use 5*+ Wakka with Triple Foul to enfeeble the first couple of waves btw (blind/sleep mainly) so those are easy.

Did an 11 pull and spent all my tickets earlier and pretty much nothing but 2 Seymour. Then spent one of the 3k tickets from the event and RAINBOW! Wilhelm #3...

Also moogled my 3rd Dual Wield last week (0 Gilg or Loren...), figured they wouldn't put it in MK rewards when Bowie Knife was in raid rewards. Ugh.

random edit: Anyone else thinking of using those 4* tickets on the Tidus banner? I could use those sweet, sweet trust moogles... although the trade-off is that it's an old banner, so I'm still mulling it over.

Seems like this would take way longer than it needs to. Fight isn't very dangerous, no need to sacrifice power for defense. Tidus already 100% resists the biggest attack that they can do, so as long as you can kill them each on 1 turn it is np. Tidus doesn't give bonus so he's only an example, it can be any powerful DD as long as they're capable of killing both before they die themselves. This is all of course worthless if you have 5 bonus units since ELT would be better at that point.

I've got Yuna up; if you have 2 pods153's and germinas, you can take LGD bosses. Just make sure you have full summon gauge by boss round (easy to do; use the skill each round before escaping). Summon bahamut, tap out of cutscene and immediately hit pod chain. Maybe I'll even go get a wand from sheratan.... hah!

Have my crappy lv. 100 Yuna up for the event. Have her equipped with crappy low SPR/MAG, Dualcast and EVO MAG+30%. If you have 2 pods, she can chain cap Bahamut to kill the bosses. Just use her summon orb skill each round before you smoke, escape, etc.

Think some of you guys are getting a bit overzealous on just how many XG units they'd actually put in. Most collabs have been, what, 5 at most? Then again, I wouldn't put it past Gumi to use non-popular characters and give us some shit like Hammer or one of the Voltron girls.

Isn't LGD supposed to have a decent bonus mob rate or is that something I'm just making up?

I have done at least 20 runs without seeing any and it's been a bit frustrating.

I've had 2 3x Grendel packs, 1 1x, and 1 bomb in probably a similar span. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if they nerfed rates when they found out people were using Escape to skip mobs.

You can Escape on any difficulty, it's not exclusive to LGD. Besides they actually increased the currency drops from defeating enemies in LGD so escaping isn't exactly the best strategy in the long run.
