Most likely Nier, and if it is, I'll be ecstatic. I didn't play Nier until after the collab event. I've played OG Nier and Automata since, and they're such good games.

The delay they're taking in releasing content (Garuda now, Moose late, etc) is really starting to make this game boring AF. They need to speed up the release of these things or it's gonna continue to not be challenging at all.
There's no way that the rerun isn't Nier right before CG Nichol and Seph.

The Garuda raid is actually "on time", it was released after the Yuna event in JP. We simply got the Titan Raid way too early in GL so it seems like a huge gap.

also, Dunes is up if anyone hasn't noticed. I didn't see any announcements (probably got buried in the blizzard of stuff that's been happening lately). I totally missed the last Dunes because I didn't know it was up, so maybe this post will help someone avoid that mistake!

Been going through the story content, I think I'm almost caught up. Phoenix fight was at first I thought some kind of infinite time trap, then I looked it up and saw you could break her full heal, easy stuff after that.

Back to just needing to kill Malboro!

Phoenix alternates between imperils each turn. You need to hit her with fire every time she's weak to it for three times and then she stops healing. So something like Fire>Ice>Fire>Ice>Fire and then kill. Or take her to 41% and deal that much damage next turn.

ahhhhhhhh thanks. I heard conflicting reports about the three fire thing, but we were missing the imperil half of the equation. I like that; makes the battle unique and interesting.


I would suspect you can just Freyvia the shit out of her from above 40% if you really wanted though...

I had to do some trial and error due to that yeah but you can tell it worked because she'll buff herself when you trigger it. Which won't matter because she'll cast Dispel as her first action next turn lol.

Turn one you can do whatever you want, start doing the fire/ice (I used dark, but ice also works and I think wind too)/fire/ice/fire beginning on turn 2.

this was with 2x Beatrix (1080, 800ish, light chains), Soleil (just the normal buff, not the chained buff), Delita (enhanced), Ace (obviously enhanced), Cloud (1300ish? I don't remember).


Like... Beatrix doesn't even chain properly, and that Cloud was not maxed out. I bet it wouldn't be hard to double that or more. Yeah, Garuda's defenses are paper thin o.O
