Consensus on the units seems to be they're really strong, but bad frames, iffy equipment choices, and high MP costs make them kinda mid tier at best. Elly seems to be the most loved of the bunch with a CD unlocked 5x cast as well as spells that build up and an on demand -100% imperil to fire/water/wind/earth.

Edit: Dragonlord and Orochi confirmed in the announcement video, these are part of the first collab batch from JP so we're getting the same units. Hopefully they're buffed though or it's gonna be a huge skip

Really not impressed with the unit upgrades so far for DQ. May drop some tickets for the slime and some bonus but that's it.

Auron has strong debuffs and is meant as a DH/TDH unit. TMR is a materia (Null Confuse/Virus/Petrify & ATK+50% w/ Katana), STMR a one handed katana (ATK+184, MP+30%).
Jecht is similar to Tidus, can be used with DH/TDH or DW. TMR is a materia (HP+20%, ATK+50% w/ Greatsword), STMR a great sword (ATK+176, High Tide).
