Looking over unit lists; I am missing;

Duke, Elfreeda, Loren, Veritas of the Light, CG Sakura/Fina/Jake/Lid from FFBE units.
Missing Aranea, Prompto, Basch, Lulu, Barbariccia, and Beatrix from other FF games.

That's not counting time-limited units, but even so 46/60 ain't bad.

So I went back to check my own pulls (to see if I've spent too much money yet!):
Missing: Delita, Wilhelm, Zarglebargle, VoL, Roy, Elf, PGLassie, Aranea, Prompto, Beatrix, LMFina, Kinshira, Lulu, Emp Shera. Only one I'm really mad about not having is Elf after I spent too damn much at Christmas to get 4 clouds and a pile of shit. Second tier I'd like Zargle, VoL, and Roy. And I've got 100% moogles for a few of these guys as well just in case.

Of the time limited, I'm missing a ton though: Demon Rain, Dracula Sswell, Elza, Noel, Yun, Vargas, 2B, Kryla, RayJack, Chow, and Ang. Of those, I'm annoyed I missed Chow and Ang.

I have 2 elfreeda already from the first cloud event, I don't think i'm gonna pull at all until Nichol comes out.

I'm both dreading and looking forward to the do-over on cloud/elf banner. One of my biggest irritations with the game is the amount of pulls I did for Elfreeda, only to get 4 clouds and none of her. So I'll probably do the step-up.... and get more clouds. And be even more mad.

I'm happy they're pushing out more content though. It's about time!

I'm sitting at 2 Cloud and 2 Elfreeda. I'm tossing around the idea of dipping into the step up to get Cloud's STMR but I'm not sure. 7* wise, Cloud at least seems decent after enhancements and 7* (not great, but more than serviceable) while Elfreeda seems to be a jumbled mess, kinda like enchanted Demon Rain, but minus the great counters. She does have a turn 1 -100% ice resist skill that could be useful if you're doing Fry chains though. She also gains some chaining potential but nothing great.

Cloud's STMR is a 180 attack elementless two handed great sword. JP seems to gravitate towards the slightly weaker two handed weapons that have elements tied to them for chaining, but nearly all of those are STMRs as well save for a few that hover around the 100-120ish range that come from other sources.

Elfreeda's STMR is a +30% HP/DEF/SPR +50% TDH materia. Adding bulk to DDs is always cool, but I'm not sure how useful that'd be. I mean, 50% TDH is worth a slot regardless, but once you hit your 300%, you'd be cutting off anything over.

It's worth noting that JP is at a point where seemingly all of their new DDs come packaged with at least 100% TDH built in. Citan was just released and he's sitting pretty at 150% built in TDH, or 200% with just his TMR (+30% ATK with fist or katana and +50% TDH) equipped. Just like how DW was pushed out by Genji Glove followed by (potentially depending on build) Awesome Swordsman, eventually TDH gear won't be needed in the quantity we need now and you'll fill in with more flat bonuses or use more efficient means to hit the cap.

Reddit being dumb yet again. Lots of salt and rage over another rerun and step up that wasn't telegraphed by JP, even though we're also getting a raid, story update, two trials, and another batch of 3* espers. Guess it just further proves you can't satisfy everyone.

I will say I agree that the step up could be viewed as a trap though if you don't have a lot of resources saved up. We've got CG Nichol coming in the near future as well as a rerun of a colab (likely Brave Frontier from leaks, but possibly Nier) and the anniversary coming up within the next month. You may be better off saving for those.

I have 0 Cloud and 0 Elfreeda and honestly the only thing i'm even remotely excited about is more story to plow through for lapis. I'm sure I'll do the new esper trials but I don't know if I'll bother really leveling them right now.

Reruns are for players that missed these the first time they dropped. This is how KM events work in JP although their reruns last longer and they began with the very old ones.

I wouldn't mind them re-running the original FFXIII and FFT events, I missed both of those and they had unique items in them.

Tempting ... I used her for the Extra Stage and her breaks are pretty fantastic. But I'm at 196 tickets now... it's getting to the point where spending any feels wrong.

That's true yeah. A lot of people glazed over rem's daggers even though they're possibly one of her best weapons. I wanna collect a few weapons from the type 0 events i missed cause they were for shitty characters for completion.

There were a couple of events where I forgot to spend currency. I'd love to see a Christmas rerun with the candy canes (80k), the Type-0 event with blue phantoma (25k), and whatever event used contest raid coins (235k). I'd also like the MK event with the evasion katana come back, I remember it's exchange ending on a Thursday and I hadn't bought it.

Just pulled Elfreeda #1 during the Sephiroth/Lila step up and seriously considering this step up but it would almost certainly require I buy some Lapis which I haven't really done outside of vault of Lapis and the $12 deals that were mathed out to be big savings. Maybe I'm just cheap but a guarantee to be at least 2/3 of the TDH setup is very tempting, especially after pulling Sephiroth. My first UoC ticket was going to go for Loren or Fryevia depending on how strong Fryevia works out as 7*. I know Loren is strong so I just need a copy to 7* her. If Fryevia ends up going TDH though, I wonder if/when I'd have a better chance to complete or move closer towards that setup.

Can't help but see the timing not only about draining resources for Nichol but its the end/start of the month when I and I'm sure many others get paid (bi-monthly for me).
