If you have DKS, there's no reason to use +30% attack over it. DKS gives +30% with a sword and +20% with heavy armor. DKS can't be stacked though so the +30% may come into play if you don't have other better materia.

Yeah, I did some quick adjusting and I come out max with 2x champ belts and Yun TMR over anything else.

Right. The units in JP were: Tiz+Agnes(5*), Edea+Yu (4*), Magnolia 3* on the paid banner. Bunny Agnes was a free 5* unit given out as a login bonus and Rinne (4*) in the raid gacha.

And these are their TMRs:

-Tiz: Sword +130 ATK & +% DEF w/ Heavy Armor;
-Agnes: Robe +35 DEF +50 MAG/SPR & 40% Fire/Lightning/Wind/Light Res;
-Edea: Katana +114 ATK & Aqua Killer;
-Yu: Materia 20% HP & +% ATK w/ Sword;
-Magnolia: Accessory +30 ATK & Jump abilities boosted;
-Rinne: Materia MAG+25% & Wind Res + 15%;
-Bunny Agnes: Hat, HP+15%, +30 MAG/SPR.

They added new stages to chamber of crystals. They still suck but 100 free lapis for completions.

From what I've read around other chambers also got extra stages (Experience, Riches, possibly more) so there's more free lapis!

400-600 is the iffy DEF/SPR VS HP. If your stats are over 600, HP will win. Under 400, stat wins. Quite often, I side with HP in the 400-600.

Edit: As for the event, you can farm the 25 NRG for T3 crysts.

Looks great yeah but I honestly prefer the upcoming CG LBs for these characters Sucks that I probably won't get any of them lol.
Maybe there's hope for a GL release at some point...
