Letter from the producer for JP version. Biggest take away:

STMR changes:

Now only require 2 dupe of any rarity (5* ~ 7*) to get STMR.

TMR is no longer a prequisite to STMR.

First dupe fused to the 7* will yield 5% to the unit's original TMR and 50% STMR + a 50% ALL Trust Moogle.

Second dupe will give the last 50% STMR.

STMR is delayed until further notice.

Musta been quite the backlash to cut the required units in half, nevermind the shelved nature of STMRs now.

changed my companion unit to 100% evade zarg. If theres a more preferable unit i can maybe change (I.Nichol?)

Man, I feel like not having the ability to get 100% evade is killing my chances at this nightmare event. Any suggestions for clearing (don't care about 5 companion/esper rewards) when I don't have an evade tank and (probably) can't get I.Nichol to 100 before this event ends?

Use Chizuru as your tank? Enhanced she has a pretty high base and is easy to get to 100. I can set my I Nichole for you to use.

I just slapped dragon killer+ onto my Zyrus. He should obliterate Bahamut now with a chain to set him up.

This new island is a pain in the ass. Encounter rate is stupidly high. Only got two of the zones unlocked atm cause it's taking me forever to find the camp locations. If anyone knows of a map for them thatd be a big help. Already have a whale friend that's got a maxed Garnett with capped bahamut esper.

How big would the chain have to be to kill Bahamut? Do you just use Blood Pulsar to finish on the chain? Asking these questions because I seem to be screwed on this fight. My best two chainers I have would probably be double Ashe which caps in the low 20s I believe. I don't seem to have any other chainers which is quite frustrating.

You'd cap with his LB, which you would fill on the regular mobs in the area.

You also need a mag buff from Soleil/Minfillia or equivalent and a spr debuf from at least WoL. Enhanced Delita is best, but Tim/9s' maxed lbs would work too.

Do you have toxic rain? I belive that chains perfectly with ashes heaven's fury(Practice on the dummy!) which should bring your chain to 29 and cap the damage modifier.

I just looked at the frame data and Heaven's Fury starts up a little bit slower than t-rain, but they have the same frames after that so it should all jive if you do heaven's fury before toxic rain.

Also, this is assuming regular chains. If you're spark chaining with magnification trick, your ashes can hit the chain cap by themselves.

Managed to pull enough Shakas to finish my Dragon Killer, that makes 2 with the bundle. Now I just need to get the recipe and stuff in there. That should push Zyrus up quite nicely eh? Or do I still need 2 rods and Dual Wield? Because I have no Greg so I'd need to waste a materia slot :/

I'm pretty sure you need two Draco Spikes. The dragon Slayer effect stacks for a total of 150% magic damage vs dragons plus the mag it gives.
