Ok so I figured out what the incentive to kill shadow dragon first it, he literally wipes you out every turn unless you have Rikku or Ayaka to Reraise everyone back up.

Rikku, Veritas of the Dark, Orlandeau, Rikku, Tilith, WoL. No problems for me, went back a second time with 6 to get the Esper kill.

So far on every raid the achievements tab never works when it first comes out. Granted I don't think there's a lot of useful items on it but I'm curious to see what they are. Man in black was fun. Was going to try and zerg goldbez down without killing the dragon but after he ate my WoL I decided to kill him. Wasn't too tough of a fight with rikku and her LB. Might go back for the esper kill another time.

It was fun seeing Golbez and remembering that part of the game but I'd love a Zemus/Zeromus fight. Second time we've had Golbez as a boss now.

So are there any good guides on this game so that I can figure out what the hell I am doing wrong? I have multiple 6* characters at max level. I have beaten a few of the different trial bosses, and when I go in to fight something like Golbez not only am I struggling to stay alive for 3-4 rounds but I give him everything that I seem to have and get him to like 96%...

I also got Ling on my second ticket, did a 3rd, and got a Penelo, so i noped out. Happy i got Ling.

After three failures (twice Golbez used his shit in a way to one shot after dragon died, and a third because I derped and didn't have a fresh RR up for the dragon phase and ended up with just Rikku left up) I finally cleared the trial. Annoyingly enough, I guess my esper timing was shit and I didn't get the mission clear off it. I swear, esper kills are the most infuriating mission. That scale is solid, but not solid enough for me to bother again.

Have got Tidus up with all the demon killers for this raid. Can also put up Ayaka for Golbez if someone needs her.

I use a TM Vargas just because I threw a bunch of pots into him before I knew better. A2 Veritas of earth or warrior of light,illusionist Nichols, and refia. Rank 50

Got adventurer 5 done. Threw it on my OK. He's over 1k damage now. The elt raid boss is pretty easy with 2 OK spamming onion slice. Takes 4 turns so it's not exactly fast but I don't even get close to dying.

Sounds like you need a finisher for that chain. CidX2 and Luneth OTKO just pressing repeat.

I'm in a similar boat. Enhanced Firion is hitting for 1.5 mil per swing. Doing 3mil is total each fight. I'm using Agrias/Orlandu to chain.

I go Orlandeau/VoD and bring in a friend to finish. I could use my own Firion or A2 if I had them geared up, no need for any kind of support on this fight really.

Caved in and enhanced Agrias' Divine Ruination (not enough support T1s to do GS mastery atm). Went from 3 turn kills on ELT to OTKO. Tidus really fucking sucks for these kinds of fights and he's so much harder to use, not to mention everyone I add to my list for Tidus ends up changing to something else within a couple of days. I really want to like him but...

I'm taking Soleil for buffs, Luneth to finish, and GLSakura, TGCid, and A2 for chains. I pick another Cid, A2, or Sakura, mash repeat and win. Top damage so far was ~14mil with a chain of around 90.

God damn Coren. With Agrias, Orlandu, Soleil, and Firion I'm hitting around 6m and I thought that was good.

Beat Golbez, and missed the esper kill by 1% -_- at least i can 6 man it now.
