After seeing this mornings announcement and the winter limited I decided to blow another 5k on a 11 pull, Ended up on a Cloud and my second Elfreen. Annnnd done.

this could have been an April Fool's unit, wtf? who the hell thought giving 6* to a 3-star base FFBE that nobody uses and who is not significant to the plot was a good Christmas gift?

I mean even if he's good, this is ridiculous...

It's actually a good idea if he turns out to be a budget Ramza, give easier access to a support role for those who couldn't/can't pull Ramza,Roy or Lunera. Sure we have Soleil but she needs to be enhanced, Gilbert only needs to be awakened.

Looks like Gilbert's buffs are only 40%. Might do some pulls to get tinker Carrie. Some of her ability names are pretty funny. This time I remembered to burn my orbs before the maintenance.

Ranked up right before maintenance, managed to get a full set of arena and raid in plus 8 reactor runs.

Yeah, Gilbert is meh sadly but he still has MP/HP regens. Kryla is still up in the air until we get more info on her Hex Eye thing and Christine looks pretty damn good to me. 40% Ice imperil on kit (100% on counter) can turn everyone's attacks into ice, Dualcast chaining moves, another chaining move she can also put on anyone for 10-man trials. WKN Noel is insane though, I want him so bad now lol. He's probably better than Wilhelm at this point, wow.

Both the new 5* are really cool. Flavor wise I like Kryla better, she can 50% imperil everything except light/dark, and 50% break all stats. She's like if 9s and ace had a baby. She also has innate 20% evade so she might be able to 100% dodge tank with an inichole

So as I have been left out of recent Awakening updates they decided to go all in for me on this one with Rem, WKN, and WoL. Now I need a metric shitton of T4 guard crysts. In the immediate, is it better to burn my energy chasing them through the Cloud event for the 3 I can get for 30k each or try my luck with Xon/Locke/Pod in the Gem chamber? I am having a hard time deciding, I have about 15k soldiers right now, 10k more coming from the exploration and dailies will net me 1 for sure as I am done with other purchases. Not sure if its worth trying to farm up another 60k or just spam Gem chamber. Gem chamber also builds up other crysts so it has that going for it. Its also why I have more than enough T1-3 guard crysts for all of them due to chasing Tech crysts for Soleil.

Tried ice bird a few times and got spanked. If could just get lucky and only have one person die on the first attack I think I'd be ok. Will probably revisit this after the new event is over.

How many soldiers are you getting per run for Cloud event?

On average in the Chamber of Gems you are going to easily spend 150+ nrg to see a t4(unless you have RNGesus blessing), and even then no guarentee it will be what you need.

I have a bunch of Cloud's in my Friend list right now though not sure how long it will last with new event coming. I am running +275% bonus with Cloud friend. Eyeballing, I would call it 1800/run w/o bonus mobs. Leaning toward farming them up this way because as you said it can be a while before seeing a T4 in the chamber. I have Pirate Jake, Locke, Xon, and Pod 153 in my farming party. I haven't finished the Raven's quest. I should stop being lazy, I only have a few keys to finish.

Blew my tickets and:
-Duke#4 (yuck) and Kryla (!) from EX tickets.
-Ramza #2 from normal tickets on the banner, 4x Carrie too.
Not bad at all except for that damn Dragoon haunting my pulls again. Hopefully I can get Christine too eventually but I'd rather try for Noel.

Edit: Christine's Snow Burial perfect chains with T.Terra.... can I have one Gumi?

How do we unlock the other story events? I unlocked the first one but nothing happened and I accidently did it again and lost 100 canes.
