I was gonna put off Glacial for a while and focus on TM farming till I saw the new restart bug. Beat that sucker in 5 seconds thanks to it.

Considering they fixed the reset RNG trick this is the only reasonable way to beat it now.

Basically if you reset twice your party recovers full HP, MP, status effects and they get full LB bars and Esper gauge. Meaning that as long as one character survives Glacial's preemptive attack you can get a full party going anyway and kill it with ease.

Pretty sure it works on everything. It's just more useful against Glacial and anything that does pre-emptives.

I just finished the story, burning about 15 NRG pots to do it all. I was shocked to hit claim all in my item chest to get +120ish NRG from compensation. I can't believe they still give flat nrg instead of pots. The 4k lapis infusion was really nice, though.

If you have a Samsung phone you can install Samsung's game tuner app and set your FPS max to 15 and go right back to chaining. Its just slow as hell. Definitely only recommend using it when you need to chain.

Thanks for the heads up about the reset trick. I oneshotted it with my 2 dark veritas, an OK friend, basch for armor erassr, and summoned ifrit on rikku and got full credit.

Tips for killing Elnath with magic:

If you're relying on physical chainers to build Esper gauge, make sure they're not too strong. My dps 1 shot phase 1 and the arm in phase 2, so I never got Esper bar for carby reflect thundaja.

I'm 99% sure Ayaka can solo the fight. She lived through everything. All thresholds and super moves. She never reraise once.

WoL(unenhanced) was my tank. He also never died. Build for 10k hp, and 400 def/spr.

My Ashe and Rem were full stacked for mag. They ended up with 4k hp which wasn't enough to survive if Rikku's buffs were down.

Dagger boomerang is physical so that sucked a lot to learn mid fight.

The fight was definitely harder for me to kill him with magic, as my mag units aren't exactly stellar and I lack a mag chainer pair.
