Magicite statuses: 1 of each of wind, and unfortunately a second max limit broken fenrir; water; and ice. 1-2 individual copies needed for lightning/earth, and (sigh) a ton of work needed on fire. Then onto holy and dark, and then back to getting second and third copies...
Kinda getting bored at magicite
And Bismarck is a dick
I, too, need 2 more Mom Bombs. But I have been doing the magicites in a rotation that I'm not drowning in too many dupes.
On the plus side, been getting consistent sub-30 dark dragon fights. Hurray for MDO.
Not using a drop tracker? It's pretty easy to setup, either on phone or on PC/Emulator.
Here's the one I use for PC/Emulator, takes about 5-10 minutes to setup, and works very fast.

But ShowTP & windower are cheating. /s
Yea I used that because god damn it was a pain to know when to hold back or just unload a WS.
Eh, in the essence that you're getting an advantage that normal players do not in the form of knowing what you're spending stamina on, it is cheating.
But since the game has no PvP elements, I kind of toss it into the bin that Windower and ShowTP occupy as things that simply make the gaming experience less frustrating.
That said, I don't do it. I've been pretty lucky through Fire/Ice/Wind in that i've needed minimal "overflow" runs in magicites to need to fret over something like that. And I also just tend to "accept" whatever drops I get and dont farm for orbs a whole lot.
While I agree, and I was being a smartass, the main reason is just not to waste time, when stamina is limited. You could theoretically be done farming 1 specific magicite in 4 kills, or never. RNG is RNG, but if you can pinpoint it, may as well so you can get onto something else, whether it being a different magicite, dupe copy, or a different fight altogether.
Especially since magicite shards are limited to 7 a week, or 9 with CMs.
I kinda agree. But I'm already running out of steam in general with Magicite and there's nothing new coming that way for another 4+ months. If I went and just got every 3* Magicite to 99 any quicker than I already am, I probably would just stop doing it altogether.
Sealion is being a little whore. I need one last Taharka drop and he keeps spitting out more sealions.
Bitch enough and you get what you want. Now to finish leveling them so I can farm Fenrir.
So this happened by total accident![]()
22 seconds! That's great!
Whelp, just did a 29.23 mist dragon and a 29.46 Living Flame. My legend dives are holding me back from doing sub-30 Fenrir and Hydra.
Managed to beat Golem on the first attempt today, making me 6/6 on the original magicites :D
Fujin: BSB/OSB - Raging Storm r2 + Wrath r5 - RM: Scholar's Boon. -- +40% Wind from gear.
Cid Raines: BSB/SSB - Wrath + lolFaith - RM: Ace Striker
Edge: SSB2 - Gust + Phantasm - RM: Mako Might
OK: BSB - Entrust + Wrath - RM: Battleforged
Y'shtola: BSB/SSB/Dived - Curaja + Shellga - RM: Dr. Mog's Teachings:
Magicite:
• Main: Bismarck Lv. 96 -- Mainly using him for the base stats, as he has the highest MAG out of all my leveled magicites at the moment.
• Sub: Bismarck Lv. 96 -- Just for the stats.
• Sub: Enkidu Lv. 80
• Wendigo Lv. 86
• Wendigo Lv. 86
Golem's damage output doesn't really seem too bad, I only took shellga and decided to forego protect for the intro, since Edge's SSB2 has blink, and if anything last stand. The intro is a slow buildup until boostgas are up, but Fujin does fine enough since Ninja magic has such a low cap. Raines casts Faith on Fujin, since I'm no where near the cap without a 3rd boost (404 with BSB wind+ chakram, 444 with OSB chakram). With BSB buff active, OSB was capping damage, without it active, ~72k or so. Overall wasn't too bad, was a bit slow at a :59s clear, but I can probably knock it down a good margin since I was playing it very safe, as I normally do with my first attempts at magicite.
EDIT:
Managed to beat Mist Dragon first try too. LD'd Raines before attempting.
Ramza: BSB1/USB/Chant - Entrust + Wrath: RM: Ace Striker
Cid Raines: BSB/SSB - Wrath + MM - RM: Scholar's Boon -- +40% Dark Gear
Edge: SSB2 - Gust + Phantasm - RM: Mako Might
OK: BSB - Faith + Lifesiphon - RM: Dr. Mog's Teachings -- Abilities were useless, didn't use them, just did CMD2 after BSB was up.
Y'shtola: BSB/SSB/Dived - Wrath + Shellga - RM: Battleforged
~:53s clear. Can bring that down a shitton. Next go around, I'll probably just get rid of Edge completely and just egg Sephiroth from 80 to 99 and use him as a 2nd DPS. I have his BSB2/OSB, so should work out fine. Going to bang my head against Black Dragon and see if I can workout a strategy before going it.
EDIT 2:
Well, beat Shadow Dragon on the first try also, lol
Ramza: BSB1/USB/Chant - Entrust + Wrath: RM: Ace Striker
Cid Raines: BSB/SSB - Wrath + MM - RM: Scholar's Boon -- +40% Holy Gear. Finally found a use for Vanille's SSB :D
Tyro: USB1/USB2/OSB/Wall - Entrust + Multibreak - RM: Mako Might -- Sacrificial bitch. Entrusted Raines at the start.
OK: BSB - Protectga + Lifesiphon - RM: Dr. Mog's Teachings -- Abilities were useless, didn't use them, just did CMD2 after BSB was up.
Y'shtola: BSB/SSB/Dived - Wrath + Shellga - RM: Battleforged
Had to Lifesiphon 1x on OK at one point as I was a little short of a bar to re-up BSB. Was pretty smooth, and found it funny that Shadow Dragon reset Raines' MM timer with his doom attack. :47.60 clear time.
Finally got Golem down under 1 min. So glad I nabbed Fujin's BSB.
Was going a little conservative with Emperor first few wins, clocking in at 1:05 or so. Wasn't able to nab 30k meltdowns until pretty late in the fight when I only had 2 uses left. It's a little risk/reward, because I removed affliction break from OK and put entrust, so Emperor is fully buffed now by turn 4 with 5 uses of meltdown left. Made a 20 second difference in clear times at ~45 seconds.
Still trying to see if I have a better option than Raines for my 5th slot here. He's really only there to provide early faith and wrath for his BSB buffs. His damage is minimal.
Setup:
Fujin - BSB (Pro/Raging Storm)
OK - BSB + OSB (Wrath/Entrust)
Yshtola - BSB (Shell/UC)
Emperor - BSB (Meltdown/MM)
Raines - BSB (Wrath/Faith)
Healing isn't really an issue between Yshtola's stoneskin, Fenrir's resist, and earth accessories but I just don't really have another option for Raines to cut this time down further. Alphinaud doesn't have the hones to use summons and be there strictly for radiant shield, Mog's faithga is diminished a bit because I don't need the extra healing and his mitigation is minuscule when Fujin is already there, and Serah's SSB faithga is a downgrade to Raines because of no damage.
Ultimate Earth Shaker only hits me for ~2k, and if its a fresh stoneskin then for almost nothing. Just need to pray for no stun on Yshtola, but I'm afraid to pull the earth accessory off her because shes been close in danger zones after b2b UES and stuns or no double proc on her medica command.
