First time trying Shiva to see the AI and got her down to 30%. That's farther than I've gotten any 6* on the first try to date.

I have Terra sync so I may have a shot at Shiva eventually.
Ramuh is being particularly difficult for me. How can I deal with some of the big attacks that follow up too quickly to replenish last stand? I'm sure my party can get me the win, it's just figuring out the turn order. Phase 1 seems to be sorted out for me. Though, it would be nice if I didn't eat an additional Earth Diffusion before it ended. It makes me needs to replenish it before starting phase 2, and I'd like to avoid it if possible.
I could not get Shiva to melt to Terra Sync / AWSB, Vincent Chain, and Ace AWSB -- but I only tried twice.
Fortunately, Locke/Noctis/Auron had no issues at all. ^^
Stop should only hit folks without Enfire.
My issue was Sleep hitting Noctis just as I input a command on my WHM who was responsible for Ultra Cure... so he'd miss a turn sometimes.
OK, went back to Mag-Shiva and just loaded up Terra and Unloaded on shiva.
Only missing mag-leviathan now, and I don't know how to keep everyone alive long enough.
If you have a dragoon in your first slot, there's some turn order stuff you can do to make sure they're in the air when that 10 second doom hits. Other than that, it has something to do with popping bubbles Leviathan calls to add to a characters doom counter.
gonna start prepping for another crack at titan soon. as far as cloud's kit goes, what's the optimal loadout, assuming you have all relevant wind items that aren't SASB?
assuming my secondary should be bartz, i have a few wind awakes to choose from, but i have both of his AASBs as well as his enwind unique, OSB, AOSB and wind BSB. i think my next-best option is zidane, i have his AASB, AOSB, OSB, multiple USBs, LMRs etc.
chain will have to be zack as that's my only phys-wind option. is it worth lensing his USB to upgrade from BSB?
i could blow a few tickets chasing faris', i have her brave which i think is ideal in this fight but without CSB she's dead weight. but the odds seem pretty dismal, and those banners should be due for a refresh soon anyway.
lastly, is there ever a timeline in which tyro can play well with autocrit characters. really don't wanna have to bring shelke but i don't think i have a choice with cloud in the mix
My Cloud was Glint, USB1/2 Arcane.
Bartz was Awake 1/2, unique, OSB.
Zack chain + USB (saves some time over BSB, but if you have a lot of quick cast, then it's a wash)
Godwall + Awake Tyro
and Larsa full kit.
Save Fabula mage to break the final wall and Phase 3 turn 5 (Primal essence) which is the last time he adds rage levels. He's super tanky when rage 3 in phase 3.
And for turn order (assuming everyone is packing Odin accessories.) Tyro slot 1, Larsa was Slot 5 with Lionheart. Larsa turn order was heal self, heal tyro, USB2. Heal USB should go off before turn 5. At least that's what I learned trying to survive the fight initially.
One sec here to refresh my memory.
I used Cloud shenanigans to speed through P1. The first wall was handled by an OSB from Cloud/Bartz or Fabula Mage. I think I tried to do it with an OSB if possible, that way the other two could be handled by other folks. After the wall was down, I think I AASBd with both of them as they had enWind, but I may have saved Bartz AASB2 for p3 so I could continue damage quickly after diffusion.Code:Cloud - Raging Quadstrike, Life Siphon, LMs: Wind Delay-, Phys Dam+, Wind Dam+++ SBs: OSB, USB1, USB3, AASB Tyro - Wrath, Entrust, LMs: IC2, Buff Duration+, DMT, SBs: DVG, USB3, USB4, AASB Elarra - Warrior Hymn, P Salsa, LMs: Heal+, Heal wCast, MM, SBs: Glint, USB1, USB2, AASB Faris - Dash & Slash, Wrath, LMs: Support Damage+, Debuf duration+, Ace Striker SBs: SSB, CSB Bartz - SSS, Life Siphon, LMs: Spellblade Dam+, Spellblade wCast, Wind Dam+++, SBs: OSB, Unique, AASB2, AASB1 First Win: Syldra Main, Subsequent Wins Titan Main
This week's magicite is Heca and it was refreshing to see how far I've come because I've been banging my head on so many dead-ends lately when I should have the gear to make clears. I had previously gotten my 4 Heca clears and wiped my hands clean of him because it was such a toss-up SL-fest, with it being particularly difficult to keep up healing. With all the power-creep of a years worth of content, it's now an easy sub-15 clear :D
I don't like explicitly looking up clear strategies (except for content that disappears and I'm running out of time), so I'm slowly learning how to best utilize Cloud's toys. Where before I was trying to make use of all my other wind characters with him, I finding out it's best just to focus on his support and getting imperil/chain maxed as quickly as possible. I'm still running the gen-1 chain, so my biggest area of improvement would be to figure out how to pull Zach out and put in Alph's gen 2, even though it's mage-focused. I have Elarra's crit bonus USB so I might be able to pull it off, but that leaves me down an imperiler and Alph would be mostly useless after setting up chain, whereas Zach can work as a 2nd imperil source.
I fucking obliterated that guy. Cloud sync and USB basically topped 50k over and over.

Same, but with Bartz AASB1+2. Having instant cast 30k x 2+ LM procs + AASB1+2 chases is silly.
Magic shiva championed. Lets not discuss the rest of it...
Took out Water Odin yesterday. Trying to figure out a way to get around lightning-weak's petrify while still having enough healing. Besides light/dark, this is the last realm where my dps match my chain. My fire is fairly strong on the magic side, but I don't have a mage chain. With high imperil, Vivi with awakening was struggling to break cap with meltdown, somehow. He's has full magia magic/fire dmg, so I guess having no magic buff is really killing me. I think I had equipped my melee Madeen instead of magic so I was missing out on like 300-350 magic, which would be significant. I also may simply drop Vivi and try and run with OK since his AASB has a mage buff, and I might be able to slip in his mUSB. If I can figure out how to get Vivi to output better numbers though that would be optimal since his AASB dmg output avg is 500k per turn if capping.
Congrats.
I forgot to post saying I got Ramuh downed. All it took was buying Kelger's glint from the lens shop when it updated.
On to Leviathan! I may also return to Dark Weak Odin and see about clearing that battle up. I tried a few times yesterday and was pretty successful, but I got hit by the second Sleepga later in the fight and Vayne's AASB ran out pretty early in the battle. I may have to swap some characters around and see about getting another Dark AASB in there instead of Cloud with his dark tech.
Took down 2 more Odin. Easy one was lightning-weak once I remembered Tyro's USB1. Ice was surprisingly easy as well, though I only have Fran's .5 ice chain and I had to spend 1k lv3 lenses on her imperil USB. That makes 4 down, and I think I might be able to get my 5th with a dark melee team around Seifer's gen2 chain with Seph's ultra and TGC's AASB, but this team probably won't have as consistent dmg as my other teams so the final 1/3rd might be rough.
Haven't gone back to my fire team, but I may look at that again if dark doesn't work out.
I made it to the final phase in ramuh with physical and got absolutely, hilariously crushed. Whoops.
Need glints!!
Decided to start tackling Odin since I got Locke and Squalls Sync+AASB. Those combos made fire and ice pretty easy. Took down water by the skin of my teeth with Tidus and Bartz’s AASB’s leading the charge. Think Wind and Dark physical will be my next best bets. I have basically all of Alph’s SB’s including his Sync, but couldn’t seem to do enough damage.
I just want 5 Omni-resist accessories and then I’ll be happy. Really need more room in my inventory.
I only needed to succeed on Ramuh was Kelger's Glint. There's a lot of Glints in the Record Labs now so if you have 2000 lv2 lenses to spare, it'll give you an edge against those thunder bolts.
I remember thinking that Wind weak would be a super quick win, then I ended up having an over a minute clear. He's super tanky.
