ESPN reporting that UF is discussing whether they can fire coach Jim McElwain with cause.

Backstory: On Monday's presser, McElwain, unprompted, said that he, his family, and players have received death threats for their performance on the field. Well, this got police looking into it and they found no evidence. When asked about it more, McElwain says he has no intention to make any kind of police report and regretted bringing it up.

If UF determines they can fire McElwain with cause for this, they can avoid having to pay his $12.5 million buyout. Randy Shannon would become interim coach until the end of the season.

I'm OK with this (obviously). I think 'bama will trash Georgia. And I'm sure Choke-lahoma will drop a game somewhere as well.

And honestly, I'm not sold on our (clemson's) offense either. We are missing too many of our long-throws down the field. A team with a really good run defense is going to make life suck (ie, Bama).
