Got extremely lucky with Knights (and finally got some that weren't dropping 1/4 chips) and am almost caught up with all gold (only have less then 10 of each 5* Mote and 2x MC3 crystals left), took 7 refreshes and will probably use the rest of my 10 refresh allotment.

So its been a long time since i've played JP FFRK (quit roughly same point as where Global is atm), but is Torment for JP open once a month as opposed to us on Global getting it every week? Looked at events last night and noticed no Torment.

Torments are done and always open now in JP.

I capped out on the good stuff shortly after round 2 of the orbs dungeons came out as far as drops goes. I’m basically in it for the xp, infinite power orbs, and leftover soul break mastery now. That being said, I wouldn’t mind the motes , lodes,etc , and my final Rosetta Stone dropping.

Edit: Completed all 5* Motes and MC3s! Thank God, also finished FF6 event. Was uneventful except for Apoc + FT, which I misread and thought she was weak to Thunder/Holy lol..... Managed to kill her anyway with 3 seconds left on Doom.

All-in-all, I had to spend 9 mythril in refreshes to get all prizes. Feels bad man probably worth it though. Does mean I'll have to wait to pull on crystal tower until I build back up to 50

I see a lot of people suggesting to LD Raines with his BSB, but I'm struggling with that decision. How much holy/dark content is there to justify that decision? Granted, I do have 2 imperil dark and 2 imperil holy (albeit one of those is Raines), so I could just force a lot of content - should that alone make it a no-brainer?

Well, who else would you spend the spirit/wisdom motes on? There's not a lot of overlap with useful characters there. I've dived two characters in that group already, and I've got enough to dive another.

I have Vivi bsb1 and OSB for a DD, and I'll be getting Ysh's BSB from crystal tower to finally give ma a top-tier healer so I would certainly love to LD her

If you've gotten all the motes so far, you should have enough to LD vivi, ysh, and cid. No need to choose unless you've got another mage/knight you're looking to dive.

i was struggling on the decision for who to mage-dive next and ended up doing raines (in large part because i threw 50 at the p5 banner and hit his OSB which i was gunning for, but prob would've gone for it anyway). he'll be super useful to have for dark/holy magicites which are coming relatively soon (announcement banner/icons are translated iirc) and he's always good against neutral stuff given the instacast + party boost + ease of obtaining holy/dark boosting gear.

I think i'm going to take Fujin BSB from selection pull over Larsa.

1. Django Fest has fixed my FF8 muscle (Rinoa CSB, Squall USB and BSB2, Selphie USB). I probably wont ever pull on a VIII banner for a long time.
2. With Emperor BSB, Faris USB2, and then Fujin BSB, Golem will not be an issue. I have a good physical wind team, but no Cloud USB to exploit it.
3. I have a form of Astra in Tyro USB. Party setups will just have to account for that on Isgebind.
4. I am likely to pull on the next XII banner.
5. Good wind stat stick for mages.

Someone pointed out last night on Reddit, that with this JP announcement, all FF BUT 11 have an event on the horizen for Global. Dena why you hate 11 so much?

Yeah I already know its not popular with most FF fans and doesn't make them big bucks like in olden days, but ffs, even FF1 is getting an event over it!

Less incentive for me to nab Ayame BSB with the selection pull and see if I can't clear the Torment and JS with just Shantotto's BSB.
