New story dungeons in JP are not bad actually (other than the bugs lol). There isn't much mythril to get but you can acquire crystal waters to increase your character stats by 1 (or 40 for HP) and also recruit Elarra who is surprisingly not a Tyro clone lol. She is full support with White 5, Bard 5, Dancer 5, Summon 5, Black 3 and a decent deafult medica SB. No other relics to acquire for her atm but you can bet there will be some in the upcoming Fest banners.
No signs of the new missions though, wasn't it supposed to launch at the same time?

hmm, banner 2 for bartz USB and banner 4 for kain LCSB are probably my top picks. the latter is probably redundant since i already have shantotto's chain, but it's a new toy for kain how can i say no to that. maybe 3 for a shot at cloud USB if i'm flush with extra mythril, but i don't particularly feel like i need it

I've clawed my way up to 150 Mythril along with 128 Stamina. The dual Behemoth fight in the FFXIII event is giving me hell. I may not get the MCIII from that one.

Terra event doesn't start till midway through P2 of Fest, so Fest will be first to drop it into the game. This week is FF12 and then following Terra is OK USB banner (wish it was delayed so more mythril saved up)

■ Festival of Wonder Relic Draw - 5 Phases

The Festival of Wonder Relic Draw will have bonus drop rates for equipment with Burst Soul Breaks and equipment with Legend Materia for a limited time. There are new pieces of equipment with elemental aspects of every type included in the lineup, and four or more new pieces of equipment will appear in the phases. You could also get new 6★ relics!

・Phase 1: 5:00 PM 12/25 PST to 4:59 PM 12/27 PST
Locke and Krile’s new Chain Soul Breaks will make their debut in this Relic Draw.

Locke’s Atomic Dive activates a fire chain to raise the fire damage of all allies a small amount, deals eleven physical fire attacks to one target, and temporarily lowers its Defense and Resistance a large amount.

Krile’s Unbroken Chain also activates a fire chain to raise the fire damage of all allies a small amount, deals eleven magic fire attacks to one target, and reduces delay of all allies' actions for two turns.

Either would likely be a welcome addition to any fire team.

Galuf’s Ultra Soul Break and Tifa’s new Burst Soul Break will make their debut in this Relic Draw! Ingus’s Chain Soul Break and Bartz’s Ultra Soul Break will also appear, along with other powerful Soul Breaks.

Tidus and Zack’s Chain Soul Breaks, and Cloud’s Ultra Soul Break will appear in this Relic Draw along with four new pieces of equipment (including Kimahri’s Ultra Soul Break).

Kain and Snow’s new Chain Soul Breaks will make their debut in this Relic Draw.

Kain’s Impulse Drive activates a lightning chain, raising the lightning damage of all allies a small amount, and deals twenty-two jump lightning attacks to one target.

Snow’s Frost Geyser activates an ice chain, raises the ice damage of all allies a small amount, deals eleven physical ice attacks to one target, and automatically restores HP to allies when they take damage (up to 2000 HP total).

■ Major Updates to Daily Dungeons
1. Daily Dungeons will be overhauled as Power-Up Dungeons.
The dungeons will change at 5:00 PM 12/19 PST (1:00 AM 12/20 UTC). Take advantage of these new dungeons to power up your party!

2. Mote Dungeon Update
From 12:00 AM 12/26 PST (8:00 AM 12/26 UTC), you’ll be able to obtain 4★ motes in these daily dungeons, which will switch out every two days. There will be five mote dungeons in all, one for each 4★ mote type. If you’re good enough at pinpointing the bosses’ weaknesses, you’ll get more rewards for completion time as well. Push through these dungeons and use the motes to make your heroes even stronger!

■Raid Dungeons 1st Anniversary Celebration

From 5:00 PM 12/19 PST (1:00 AM 12/20 UTC), there will be an anniversary login bonus for five days with gifts to celebrate multiplayer mode, and a new raid stamp set for the occasion! Cagnazzo and Orthros will also make guest appearances for the raid dungeon anniversary, so bring along four of your friends to challenge them. (Single player mode is also available.)

Hmmmmm, methinks the Dena intern strikes again! The way that is phrased does imply that, so gonna be curious if Dena honors the mistake and implement it.

I don't even have 150 mythril atm. I'm guessing at pulling banner 3 and 4. Bartz knife can at least be combined for a giant stat stick so i'm somewhat open to #2 even in a worst case scenario if a dupe happens. Zack/cloud relics would probably help a tad. 4 is to give me a chain other than my shantotto csb for lightning. I don't have much of the other elements anyway.
If they didn't change things around too much this should vaguely give me a shot at some yuffie relics.
