    Home automation philips nest etc

    I’m looking to set up home automaton for the future house.

    I’m using iPhone so need Apple HomeKit,

    I was thinking of using

    Philips Hue for house lighting
    And nest for thermostat and smoke detector ( maybe cameras too)

    So do these work well together what’s your personal experience with these products? I know they are pricey but I’m waiting for deals.

    Anyone has a good recommandation for a doorbell too ( possible FaceTime integrated, and virtual key locks for the front doors?)

    Google home with nest's, sensi, hue, etc. Getting ring next prob. Works great.

    LIFX is pretty good for bulbs since it doesn't require its own hub to work. It's one of the reasons why I chose it over Phillips Hue.
