No kidding, that's what my older friend told me. She was using a alternative treatment for it that she said helped (colloidal silver) which I won't touch b/c I know the risks and I like my face the way it is. (That stuff.. runs the risk of turning you grey if you have too much, and you never know how much is too much!) Rather not have to start scratching for things to help in the first place, when there's a vaccine available!

Re: shingles vax. I got my first shingles shot (First person to say that I'm over the hill gets a water bottle chucked at them. I'm NOT. Yes I'm 50, so what?) because at least one older friend had shingles and it sucks, man. I had chickenpox as a kid so yeah, went to get vaxxed soon after my birthday. Be nice if that will help me not get dementia later. Also just for you younger folks; the shingles shot makes your arm hurt like HECK afterward, but better that than shingles from what I've seen, YOU DO NOT WANT SHINGLES. If you had chickenpox, GET THE BLEEPING SHOTS after you turn the big 5-0. If you didn't make sure you are vaccinated against chickenpox.

As for medicare allowed to go ahead with drug price negotiations; WAY TO GO. Drugs get pricy and I hope that will help.

And Salodin; Teasing me a little bit since I'm getting ready to get my driver's license at my age? Let's just say it's been a comedy of errors why I haven't taken the test yet and leave it at that. (Story includes a lost purse(was MOM's purse not mine) and realizing it was worthless up until covid (nothing realy TO drive and no way to get anything to drive), when I finally had the money to get me something TO drive.)

And since no one actually said "you're over the hill", no one gets water bottles chucked at them. Seriously, when we celebrated my birthday in June, Joanna and Jared made sure there was no over the hill signs or black stuff b/c they knew I'd HATE that.

Nah, he's teasing me over the great spam debate of if I'm doing 90 in the fast lane and someone comes barreling up behind, they can fucking go around cause I won't slow down to merge over, just to get back over again. If he wants to be the rabbit on the freeway, he can be the rabbit lol.

As said before, though really not the thread for it, I'll gladly wear that crown. I'm not slowing my ass down 10-20mph to get over so someone can think they are auditioning for Fast and the Furious. If 15-25mph over the speed limit is too slow for you, too bad so sad.

So 2024's Open Enrollment happening. Work is pulling a dick move by adding a "Working Spouse Surcharge." $100/month surcharge if your spouse has access to subsidized medical coverage through their employer, but they are on my employer's plan.
