Only thing work doesn't charge more for are additional children past the first one. Unless they're lying in the guide. And no we pay more if a spouse/legal partner is enrolled, then two different categories for children - Worker + children and Worker + Spouse + children. So it isn't a higher premium the more children on the plan. Unless they're lying.

They're basically giving you a $100 paycut since your insurance is a part of your compensation. Some real bullshit alright. Hope they're giving you a nice fat inflation raise

Nope. Layoffs. Cancelling the holiday party and instead opting for a smaller event at a bowling alley (allegedly) because despite our site outperforming forecasts, it isn't a good image to have a party when other divisions are shipping out pink slips.

They already cut off gift incentives as well back in March (gift card redemption which - lol - is taxed.) So no one has motivation to work harder or stand out.

I'll let you figure out how penny pinching my employer is. Were within the top 100 of the Fortune 500 and the market cap is in the ballpark of $200B.

At the location I work at, there is a line in the pharmacy almost half a block long from 9 am to about 6 pm everyday. The customers just keep getting nastier. The cops have been making multiple visits a month to remove unruly people. I support them if my location decides on a walkout, but this article is the first I am hearing about it.

Good, walgreen understaffing has been horrible for years now. Used to use them for my scripts and they were always super behind and overworked, messing shit up and stressed as fuck which isn't a great combo when mixing people's meds

I'm glad I use a regional grocery store chain's pharmacy. Their hours are a lot shorter than Walgreens but they are nice and always on the ball.

That's just sad. I don't think there's many exceptions in GA for "you must get your kids their shots" but makes me NOT want to live there. (I get my shots.)

[Edit] just looked it up and we have exceptions for medical and religious reasons. I assume it's not easy to get one b/c I don't hear of it much! Prolly for those clowns, it's also discouraging from what I see of GA rules for it that you have to write out a form EVERY year to keep your kids from getting vaccinated, so no wonder. Hassle can stop people.

This is the first laboratory-confirmed human case of infection with an influenza A(H5N2) virus reported globally and the first avian H5 virus infection in a person reported in Mexico. Although the source of exposure to the virus in this case is currently unknown, A(H5N2) viruses have been reported in poultry in Mexico. According to the IHR (2005), a human infection caused by a novel influenza A virus subtype is an event that has the potential for high public health impact and must be notified to the WHO. Based on available information, WHO assesses the current risk to the general population posed by this virus as low.
