What? They already pushed through ignoring the flu vaccine meeting to determine the strains to use this coming season.

They would absolutely push this through as "a way to streamline medicine". AI has its uses in medicine, like improving documentation efficiency, but I guarantee you a shit ton of people will die if this becomes reality because whether you accept it or not algorithmic medicine only works for simple shit and is one of the prime reasons for medication shortages.

It's the equivalent of logging on to WebMD and it goes "lol you have diabetes here's insulin" or "you're suicidal the cops are on their way". It's way more nuanced than anyone realizes.
