The number of reported measles cases in the United States this year is soon set to surpass the total reported for all of last year.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) shows the U.S. has reported 2,231 cases as of July 9, which is just 58 shy of the 2,289 cases reported for the entirety of 2025.

That shit goes underreported cause in most cases it's not lethal. 2 weeks ago my boy and I had severe nausea and diarrhea and we figured we got it from fast food lunches cause my wife hadn't eaten lunch with us so far that week and she was fine. Exact same symptoms, but we just toughed it out on the porcelain throne. Lasted 36hrs and we were fine, but man did it suck.

Taylor Farms has made a statement that the outbreak only affects their Iceberg Lettuce that was grown in Mexico. They also say it only affected 1% of their total market. The CDC still hasn't issued a recall.
