Welp, looks like the Flames are starting to shit the bed pretty hard now. They genuinely looked good in a big chunk of November but December has been meh as fuck and this last stretch of games isn't anything to rave about.

The team is definitely on fire, they just looked like ass for most of the game last night. Particularly in the first period.

That's fair, though some credit to the Flames who were driving possession pretty well in their own barn. I cannot fucking wait to get Ellis back; he was in the Conn Smythe conversation last year, stellar player overall and makes the top 4 so good.

Having taken the time now to actually see what happened in yesterday's game (as I couldn't watch it myself), it looks like the Flames have actually been playing really well for the last 4 or 5 games in general. They're just snake-bitten as fuck (4 or 5 pucks off the post yesterday for example), and the PP has been fucking horrendous. Outside of not being able to put the puck in the net, 5-on-5 they've been stellar or so I'm reading anyway

I have tonight off and I was half-tempted to go to the game in Vancouver today, but it's raining haaaard as fuck and I don't feel like leaving my apartment. So instead I'm just going to cozy up and watch the game in comfort.

Edit: Fuuuuck, I could get a decent seat for $35 lol. Vancouver is awesome in how bad the fan base can be

Calgary now 1/24 on the PP over the course of the last few games. They do have 5 even strength goals tonight though, so I'm more then okay with that. And Bennett has 4 points on the night. Has something like 16 points in his last 19 games
