On one hand Calgary has lost 3 in a row. On the other, they've earned a point in every game they've played in 2018 so far. So it's not the worst situation. But winning some games here and in regulation would be nice. Looking at the shots, shot attempts, block shots, etc, it looks like Calgary actually played well tonight but just hit a hot goalie in LA

This stat is nuts. In the last 10 games the Oilers have lost 5-0 3 times. The 2010-11 last place rebuild team did it 4 times and not a single player from that years roster is left on this current Oiler's team (Eberle was the leading scorer on that year's team with 43 points lol)

In these recent 10 games it should also be noted the Oilers also had a 5-1 loss and a 4-1 loss lol

The NHL would be better just eliminating GI altogether...absolutely horrible calls this week.

Maybe their reasoning is that Anisimov got pushed in to the goalie? He got really lightly nudged though.

Maybe the leagues reason is "dont push opposing players in the direction of your goaltender, no GI calls will ever go your way if we feel this is what happened". Unless youre Brendan Gallagher, then you get 0 calls, ever.
