Looking back, now that there's only two universes left, it's silly how little all of them except u6/7 did. Discounting roshi who fell off by himself, there have been 71 eliminations; 50 by u7, 12 by u6, and a grand total of 9 by the other 6 universes combined.

Most of the jobbers in this tournament just stood around waiting for their turn against u7, instead of bothering to fight anyone else.

I guess they were all just royally pissed at Goku and wanted to take him down with them. I personally don't get why there wasn't a zerg rush on Jiren immediately after his fight with Goku. ll of those aces working together should have caused absolute mayhem vs Jiren.

Hit can time skip. If anyone can exploit the chaos of everyone attacking at once it would be him. There was really no reason to stop their attack and it would even be beneficial to Hit's fighting style/morality since he's an assassin. I can't see him butthurt that extra people got involved while he was doing a job.

9 minutes in this arc isn't the same thing as 5 minutes in the Namek saga. That was all one fight and it was really badly paced. Every episode has been pretty well paced here so far. They're just being ridiculous declaring the whole "___ minutes" thing at the end of the episode.

I don't see any plausible way that we use up 9 episodes for Jiren, Toppo, and Dyspo. Something else is gonna happen for sure.
