aside from that the joke doesn't even work unless you think nazis are awful, that's like the whole point of the joke, the juxtaposition of nazis with the adorable pug.. i chuckled a couple times at the dogs reaction but it was a bit too trihard edge for my tastes, obviously offensive but that was like the whole point. from what i can tell the court has decided that none of the context matters because people found the video grossly offensive either way, and I just find that a fucked up road to start heading down.

looking at his twitter feed he's staunchly anti-pc, definitely a memer/troll, and what I would consider far-right, none of these things should warrant jail time imo considering that's how most of you would probably label me here lol

Hate speech laws are weird, and we don't know all the evidence offered by the prosecution. Is he a white nationalist? Is this the first time he's been caught with white nationalist "jokes"? People say stupid shit all the time, but this is the first I've seen a guy prosecuted for something like this. That doesn't make me think this is crazy and out of line, it makes me think you're missing the whole story. I'd really like to see the entire case they made against him.
