Y'all are fat.
Getting fat off broccoli fucking terrible on all counts, at least get fat off desserts
seriously wtf. don't feign eating broccoli and just go have a mozzarella stick god damn
like it doesn't even matter the size, type, or how well prepared the broccoli is or isn't with how y'all are "eating broccoli"
is the shit even proper crisp-tender? do any of you dairy drizzlers actually like broccoli? i'm not sure you'd know
I love broccoli. Roast that shit.
Roasted broccoli is best, same for brussel sprouts and carrots.

broccoli is king dingaling and can find its way in any meal of the day. baby broccoli is also top-tier (aka broccolini)
for the cheese/ranch plebs, simple broccoliSpoiler: show
Yo but have you guys tried broccolini?
if only the obesity issue was that simple. i just went without eating anything for 4 days followed by 3 days of about 500 calories total from eating a couple apples/pears a day....and gained 5 lb. considering the worlds obesity rate is consonantly rising and the fact that it seems to resist diet and exercise for most, i suspect there's another agent at hand, like a bad gut flora that's spreading or something. NOT that diet and exercise aren't important, but i seriously suspect somethings interfering with that process, because that advice doesn't seem to work nearly as well as it should for a lot of people, even when they follow it. :/
lack of veggies is only an indirect cause of obesity; veggies tend to be very high in fiber and nutrient-dense with an exceedingly low calorie/volume ratio. eating more veggies doesn't directly contribute to weight loss much, but if you're eating more veggies you're probably eating less calories overall
until you add butter and cheese that is >.>
also broccoli is a shit tier vegetable for one simple reason: it doesn't fridge well. leftover broccoli has an odd taste, weird color, and slimy texture; it's a shame because I really do like broccoli in general. I feel the same way about asparagus :/ I love asparagus but cooked asparagus tastes disgusting after 24 hours in the fridge
also I am very confused as to why I'm talking about my favorite veggies in this thread but WHEN IN ROME
one of the most radical things an american could do might be to eat 3 cups of vegetables each day
only 9% of us do, and i know i have poor days. sorry poor people, good luck

"Resists diet and exercise"
See right there, that tells you that he's fucking retarded.
Short term you'll always have weird stuff happen. It's part of why people love keto diets at first because you drop tons of water weight at first. It's also why when I do eat more carbs like on cheat days I gain insane amounts of weight. The fact you ate straight sugar, fiber and water after a fast is the real culprit in your case
Long term though calorie balance dominates. Because you aint some magical energy machine and you gotta get it from somewhere. What a lot of people that follow a plan miss is that how much calories needed to maintain wildly differs between people even within the same body type and amount of exercise and needs to be adjusted for and that some peoples bodies are a lot better at dumping excess calories etc etc.Like for example if I followed most any exercise calorie calculator they'd say my daily bike rides are a good 600+ calories by themselves... but thru watching and tracking I've seen clearly that it really only allows me to eat about 100 more a day to not change weight trends I had without riding. A lot of semi sedentary people at might weight can maintain at 2k despite decent amounts of exercise I'm at more like 1400-1600 to maintain
Hell, even if it's not from veggies, Americans need way more fiber in their diets.
No man, didn't you hear Psion? It's a gut flora agent man.
