A year later she brought it up to me again, and i didn't entertain the conversation. She went to her parents and told them. I ended up in the principals office, but I went unpunished due to a statute of limitations. So, Idid. There are probably quite a few more that qualify that I can't remember.

Same girl five years later, though, sat next to me and got handsy, so #metoo. I was conflicted she had huge tits and was pretty good looking, but I knew if I let her get a handful of dong I'd end up facing a rape charge or something.

Just because the small but incredibly vocal army of fringe extremist feminists on twitter and tumblr shout down men that use #metoo and get 5000 retweets from their white knights and bot armies doesn't mean men can't use it. Those people, just like neo-nazis and white nationalists, are not a valid representation of society and should not be evidence to make a point on anything at any time.

It's perplexing to state the expanded focus of victims will hinder a movement's efficacy (which isn't untrue) while we don't identify any change we're targeting, overly optimistic or not.

New or tougher laws? Increased public/online shaming? Hollywood tweaking its own moral compass? Somehow shift the economics of consent?

If we don't know where we're going, any road will take us there.

We're pretty good at social media outrage though. And then what?

Hollywood isn't going to change, trust me. The only reason any of this happened is because Weinstein got outed. All of the other ones are currently hard at work threatening their victims into silence, and succeeding.

The wealthy elite will always win. It's just the way it works. It always has, and always will. Every once in a while we'll have somebody get their cover blown, and they'll be summarily excommunicated so all of the other ones can continue their work. Am I being considered a troll? I don’t tweeter or tumble so I was just curious of how things were being received. I do follow some people on YouTube that are pretty opinionated. I’ve been trying not to let them slant my opinion but maybe I need to be more careful.

I've had my ass grabbed by random women in public before and while I admittedly didn't mind personally, I can easily see how awful it would be if it was something that happened all the time and especially if it's from someone you don't want it to. I mean let's be honest, for a lot of guys if a good looking girl walks up to you and touches you, no problem. But if that girl/guy isn't attractive to you, it's suddenly creeper status instead and you do feel even a little violated.

Hopefully I worded that right, not looking to stir up controversy there.

I'm curious to see if anything happens with the fashion/model industry as well. Feel like it must be just as bad as Hollywood.

I didn't make a #metoo post the other day even though some old lady grabbed me and gave me a squeeze after I held the door open for her. Thoroughly creeped me out. My wife made fun of me for a brief moment before we had a discussion about how bad it is for her and how frequently stuff like that happens in every day life. When she was like 8 months pregnant with our second some creeper followed her from work to her car in the parking lot asking her inappropriate questions and making lewd comments.

People need to learn boundaries and not do shit like that.

So she thanked you with a physical gesture, but it went too far with the squeeze? Like if a pat on the back turned into a slow shoulder rub? Are those the boundaries? Or should we just never touch anyone anymore in any context? Or is it only ok if we ask and give consent first? So many questions, I just don't want to be accused of sexual assault.

Note I'm too shy to ever touch anyone but I'm sure when I was younger I verbally harassed someone based on their physical appearance (definitely in grade school). I've come a long way..
